These esp32-S3 boards I got apparently didn't have a section soldered? Jumped? To do 5v to the pin via usb-C. Yay impromptu soldering. I think I did ok, it works so that's what counts. Now I have 5v and stable screen display. It's ugly from flux and lack of skills heh.

My first try where I left off wiring up an RGB led and controlling it with a numpad. I may of went overboard with the start up messages. I wanted to give it a feel like self tests were happening and thought I'd have fun with it. Ignore the messy AF setup. I kinda had fun with it.

Whelp my pre class soldering attempt might of been successful failure. I think I chose the wrong tip (lol). I went with needle point like one cause this shit is so small and close together. I kinda got the solder on. I may need to redo one or two pins or fill in more. Only burned myself once!

The gothic hibiscus flowers are growing back. SO was worried they didn't survive winter here and she spent a lot of time making sure they were cared for. The sticks are the current state. The full bloom is what it looked like last year. Unrelated she's very close to passing her network+ 🎉

I started playing game called TimberBorn, I didn't read any lore besides flavor text. I guess post humanity collapse the beavers take over world. This is my little mountain side village. My god I would abandon life right now to live there. I would gladly farm and haul just to be there.

I did a thing! I made and hung a shelf! Weird flex I know. I took some cedar fencing, sanded it up, burned TF out of it, cleaned of up with light sanding, and lastly few coats of tung oil. Some metal brackets that didn't quite fit so I made it fit by cutting into the front of the shelf.

I'm not great at cooking but when you're three sheets to the wind. It all tastes good. Maybe later this season I'll have garden tomato's and pepper to cook with. For now jar and can ftl.
