This new policy risks reversing decades of hard-fought progress in reducing youth tobacco use, which we've fought for tirelessly. As organizations and individuals committed to protecting the health of America’s young people, we cannot allow this to happen.

We advocate to ensure research funding to advance health outcomes is translated into interventions accessible by all. That means a transparent, merit-based process grounded in science. Several parts of this rule stand in the way of those ideals and put patients at risk. We urge OMB to withdraw it.
