#BeatlesSongoftheDay - maybe appropriate for a Monday morning - l’m So Tired from the White Album. A lethargic listen - typically witty Lennon lyrics!

#BeatlesSongoftheDay Today, it’s I’ve Just Seen a Face. From the Help album - bloody brilliant, some super rhymes - go listen to it!

I will listen to this: I’ve just finished reading this book Mark Watson wrote, and it wasn’t what I expected at all. I enjoyed reading it, and I really liked the ending.

3 reasons I bought this book: 1. Shakespeare 2. @stephenking.bsky.social 3. The cover design.

Copy of the book Birnam Wood by Eleanor Catton. It has a really striking black and white cover design. At the top is a quote ‘Terrific’ from Stephen King.

I was going through 1943 editions of the @newstatesman.com today and was delighted to learn that at a critical phase of the war its readers got massively distracted, in a totally British way, by a competition to write a limerick about fish. My top 3 follow.

Just want to say - the film #Conclave - the trailer preceded every film I saw for weeks and weeks. Maybe months actually. (I go to the pictures quite a lot.) I was excited to see it. All of a sudden, I had bloody missed it. I never even saw it at my local cinema. It was there for a few days. WHY??!!

Haven’t listened to this for a while. It’s taking me back… I was really small, Mum and Dad were really sad, and Dad in particular played this record over and over - John had died. Now this is my record, and I’m surprised I remember so many of the beats and lyrics. #JohnLennon

I love this Radiohead song

A sign with a picture of a snapped tree falling onto a car which reads: CAUTION
-Dead trees are rotting
- Wings make trees unstable
-Trees are falling
-Look up; look around
- Watch where you park
-Watch where you walk
