The next Halo is going to be full of micro transactions isn't it 😩 no way Activision should be anywhere near Halo.

Thanks for the suggestions. My favourite current photographer is Dave Herring BTW

Anyone recommend photographers on YouTube that don't spend a lot of the video selling their gear or LUTs?

Must not order 18 Pro, must not order 18 Pro…

I've had better weeks, but had some kind reach-outs - thank you. I'd love for @dbspringboard.bsky.social to get 500 sign-ups by the year's end - if you'd like to help with that, the link is below. darylbaxter.com/springboard/...

Being on the flightpath to Kemble and RAF Fairford is interesting… See Spitfires from my desk then B1 Lancers from my bathroom…

Using a pop socket on my iPhone Air and I've only just started to see a use case for standby mode. Guessing it only works when charging?

More expensive than AirPods!

Back to iOS 26 on the iPhone Air to check on overheating. Already had a battery not charging warning but it is downloading data etc.

An asteroid killed the dinosaurs because they didn’t have a space agency – so ESA’s Hera asteroid mission has a dino mascot (also aboard the spacecraft in real life!). But our dino needs a name – that’s where you come in! www.esa.int/Space_Safety...

I've added the tap back functionality in iOS and now when I double tap the back of my phone it takes me to the home screen. Trying accommodations for my RSI. I'm already on the lightest modern iPhone so now need to make adjustments. Open to tips if anyone else struggles with hand pain.

Since deleting overcast and having sync issues with Pocket Casts I've moved to the Apple Podcast app. It's come on a lot since I used it last. Think it'll do for me.

Using a case on my iPhone Air 😱 (just an RSI test to see if it helps). Mous super thin aramid so adds hardly anything.

I feel Apple are going to be flooded with Duo returns. Looking at the camera, same or similar to 17e. Maybe only going to be for those that can afford a Pro to go alongside it. I like the look of it don't get me wrong but I'd rather use my camera plus an iPad for editing then have a light phone

LJPUK @ljpuk.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

I think I'm done with YouTuber content for Apple stuff mostly. In the last videos I saw someone ordering an Apple Watch just so that they could unlock their Duo more easily 😩

LJPUK @ljpuk.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

Caught up a little with Apple info. Duo looks cool but I don't want to carry a little iPad around everywhere. I like having a phone and an iPad. Interesting though.

That time of year with the most fake YouTube thumbnails 😀report them all please.

I mean my wrist and hand issues are so bad I can't wear watches anymore, 211g phone probably a bad idea.

LJPUK @ljpuk.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

I'm still undecided on weight. I'm waiting for physio so thinking it'll be a bad idea. Let's see how my adhd impulsivity goes.

LJPUK @ljpuk.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

Very tempted to try the camera out on the 18 Pro but don't like using the return policies.

000

LJPUK @ljpuk.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

I'd take the front screen of the iPhone Duo and create a new Mini, won't happen but would be great.

LJPUK @ljpuk.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

So Apple Watch is also a spying device now? support.apple.com/en-asia/148354

LJPUK @ljpuk.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

I didn't realise the inner screen of the Duo was matte, it does look nice I have to admit. 254g though.

LJPUK @ljpuk.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

Get a compact camera, 18 Pro isn't worth an upgrade just for the camera and added weight to carry around daily.
