i watched the second ep. of KoG and yeah the animation/visuals are good, lots of hype moments and aura. dialogue and voice acting feel unnatural and stiff to me tho, very much ''we are doing x right now, then we do y so z can happen'' and it's grating

Held By The Land

Beneath a moonlit, starry sky, silhouetted birds fly south, as a heavy stone disk descends over the land. A dark figure of a wolf woman sits, cradling a small wolf child in its lap. They rest, nestled among the islands towering over the landscape of isles, inlets, and mountains of the puget sound.

i wonder how posting art since i was like 12 fried my brain over the years. it mustve fried it a LITTLE bit at least. but i also feel like managing social media comes easy to me by now

productive ''why's'' exist!!! it's not inherently bad to start meta-looking at ur life and work but as an OCD haver it usually just sends me straight to paralysis-nothing-matters hell

this is technically doing CBT on yourself but it does work. i cannot let any ''why's'' pass through bc they demotivate me immediately (i have awful negative bias in general). ''you like drawing'' should always be enough

read somewhere that burnout comes more from disillusionment than a lot of hard work. which makes sense bc when i start asking ''why'' in the middle of a commission or smth i know it's time to Abort bc i will not come to a happy, non-existential conclusion lol

YOU - “Our lives are very different from each other.” JOYCE MESSIER - “No doubt -- but we share the same time and position on the planet's crust. That counts for more than you'd think.”
