All right everyone. I'm signing off. Tomorrow is my birthday, and I'm always pleased to celebrate it with MLK when his day falls on mine. And I'm celebrating because I finished my WIP! Book 18 in the Wolf Harbor series, contemporary urban fantasy. See you all in a couple of days.

So I’m disenchanted w/national political reporting. I’ve canceled WaPo but it hasn’t stopped yet. I got a ‘newsprint’ of my reading habits— calling me open-minded, thoughtful, curious. Asked if I was on my school paper? lol. I was a journalist, becoming a journalism prof advising college papers. 😂

A meme from the Washington post that says I’m a well rounded reader and asks if I write for my school paper.

Hi all! I write political suspense novels. (Not an easy field these days. Reality keeps trumping the plot. Yes, I see the word play.) But we've been here before. And in 2020, I wrote a series about a college newsroom in downtown Portland, OR, facing the protests and the pandemic. /1

Wolf Harbor. I’m at the 30% mark of book 18 — always my hardest point in a book. Sigh. It’s an urban fantasy series featuring Abby Stafford, a burned out, middle aged anthropologist, who finds out humans aren’t alone. You can find them wherever you buy your books. #SFFCHAT
