This isn't state laws that cause the clinic near me to close, but sure this is state laws that were passed.

The University of Chicago Medical Center ended its gender-affirming care for minors last week, becoming the latest Chicago hospital to bow to federal pressure over it.

UChicago Medicine said in a statement Friday that it made the “difficult decision” to suspend gender-affirming pediatric care in response to threats from the Trump administration to cut federal funding to medical institutions that provide these treatments.

“We reached this conclusion in light of emerging federal actions which would place at risk our ability to care for all Medicare or Medicaid patients,” the statement reads. “These patients make up the majority of those we serve.”

The new album has been on repeat for me on evening walks. Gives a level of power and paranoia that is unmatched. The way the sampled vocal audio matches into almost a syncopation onto a beat is entirely too clever. Not to mention the shit that Boards always gets up to.

Hurry Up, We're Dreaming really seemed to escort the era of music to its next level. So many albums were influenced by its post-future dream pop landscapes it wove. It is up there with the greats like Cross and Discovery in my mind. Special shout-out to Junk as well. Many good memories there as well
