It’s violent direct action & disruption - rather than ‘protest’. And it’s definitely political. But it’s aimed at protecting civilians by instead harming military hardware. PA is very clear on the difference between protest &what it does, & strategic risks to activists.

The irony here is that my far right research has actually been detrimental to my career & hindered past promotion. There are people who think you shouldn’t talk to the far right and if you do you must sympathise with them, which I don’t. I did try to empathise with them. A one-way street.

This feels naive. Musk is not a lone influencer. We saw the effects of social media mega accounts bent on misinformation and stoking violence in the UK last summer. Sometimes you need just one emotive fault line for things to fall apart. And X is now a very different platform to Twitter.
