Calling suicide “selfish” misunderstands severe mental illness. Someone in that state isn’t making a calm, rational choice—they’re overwhelmed by unbearable suffering and illness that tells them there’s no way out. Suicide is tragic, but it deserves compassion, not judgment.

After 2+ yrs of fainting spells, VERY low BP, & extreme fatigue … multiple trips to different Dr’s - who wouldn’t believe me/do next to nothing (and Always blame it on my anxiety 🙄) … two ER trips, & one 3 day hospital stay … tomorrow I’m FINALLY getting in to see a specialist! #FingersCrossed

Bravely switched psychs last Dec after 6 years & today’s appt once again reminded me I made the right choice. The holidays always wreck my mental health, but it usually eases soon after… But if it doesn’t, she and I have a plan. Even with grief in the mix this year, I know I’ve got this! ❤️

2025, the hardest year of my life— Said goodbye to both senior pets, my dad’s heart attack scare, then lost my bff to breast cancer mere weeks ago. In June I saw Blu online & KNEW he was mine. Always by my side, he brings endless joy & comfort. With him, I’m finding strength I swore I’d lost.💙🐾
