Hope things improve for you soon! I’m probably extra confused because I’m living between two countries trying to empty our entire family home while job hunting 🫠

Is that Charles Fleischer’s (RR’s) voice?! Will have this song stuck in my head all day now.

I found it in the back of a cupboard recently and was planning to bin it because two of its limbs are broken and it doesn’t have a chin.

It’s a dark horror inspired by The Blair Witch Project, Jan Svankmajer and Limmy’s Homemade Show and features a disturbingly wrecked squirrel puppet that I made for my animation degree over 20 years ago.

I’ve gone FERAL! I made a weird short film for @overlapsocial !

Lizz Lunney @lizzlunney.bsky.social · 07/09/2026

Yeah ☹️ I’m hoping no one saw it rather than no one has anything positive left in them. Dark times!

You were the only one with any positive!

It’s had the opposite effect on my soul recently. But you’re right!

Lizz Lunney @lizzlunney.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

It’s not a trend is it. This is life now.

I feel like my brain gets poisoned everytime I open my eyes. Go for a walk, you’re guaranteed to see some AI slop. Try looking at nature, and there nearby is some AI slop. Look at a puddle, cry.

120

Lizz Lunney @lizzlunney.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

So all the mass slop that is taking over seasidey tat, local event flyers, posters, everything… “normal” people can’t tell the difference. So, what’s the point making real art huh. Whatever was the point?

120

Lizz Lunney @lizzlunney.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

What I’ve been learning recently from non-artist relatives and friends is that they can’t recognise when something is AI or not.

Stop fucking using genAI. Not even for a joke, not even for that oh so cutting political satire. Every time you use it, you are actively taking food out of our mouths. You are using the weapon of the enemy. We do not need it.

I saw him pulling this stunt last night and rolled my eyes. You think that’s going to encourage me to do my German learning Duo? THINK AGAIN. I’ll just remain unable to communicate in the country I’m stuck living it. I’ve had it UP TO HERE with your drama, owl boy.

They should make four Monkees movies, that’s what the public really wants.

It’s not just that they don’t look like them… the vibe isnt right. The vibes are OFF.

Oh wow remember that London MCM when we were right next to the constant drumming/wrestling. My eardrums have never recovered.

Ooof yeah London is no place to be on Thursday. I don’t like being hot either. It’s too hot.

It is very stupid and I’m sick of it . But, so far it hasn’t been anywhere near as terrifying here as it was in Berlin. I’m scared to go back to a no AC sun facing flat (hence why I’m still here) 😭

I wish everyone was just queer and kind. A lovely big gay planet full of love and support and community. Maybe the best we can hope for is still that… even if it’s just in the final moments before complete climate collapse and extinction. 🌈 💀

The world could be so great. What a shame those previous generations were intent on turning it into a shithole and continue to do so, just because they’re scared of change and fearful of people who are different.

If anyone has any remote/UK/Berlin job leads please think of me, even though clearly I’m here raging at the world and at mental capacity today (so I can see that miiiight put off prospective employees but I promise I’m excellent)

The heartbreaking news from Berlin while I’m sat currently jobless in our family home in the UK sorting out tat is just getting to me now. One right wing country to another, it’s all the same.

150

Lizz Lunney @lizzlunney.bsky.social · 27/07/2026

Had about a ten part rant to continue here but what’s the point really. Just sick of it all.

250

Lizz Lunney @lizzlunney.bsky.social · 27/07/2026

On the same topic when are the old dudes doing similar to our countries finally going to drop? It’s like being held hostage while stupid and fearful people move right wing one by one.

171

Lizz Lunney @lizzlunney.bsky.social · 27/07/2026

For real though. What’s with all these boomers hoarding houses full of tat and hanging onto real estate? Let it go, man. Stop leaving that stress and upset to your loved ones. My patience with selfish people is ricepaper thin at the moment.
