They just don’t seem that miserable to me, is what I mean. Standard level of misery for high stakes fantasy novels imo

I saw someone call the series “misery porn” and I just don’t think that’s true at all. There’s a lot of conflict I suppose.

I’m reading the Farseer trilogy (I’m on the third one), so of course my phone spies on me and serves me content about it on Reddit and such. I’m really puzzled by some comments about of the books, by both fans and critics

Act 3 BG3 kind of annoying honestly. I’m turning the difficulty down just for iron throne because it’s pissing me off too much

I have had some of the worst art block of my life in the last few weeks/months, but for Draw-Tober I've been drawing Earl each day. So here is my Earl-Tober thread.

Three digital paintings of Earl, a gray cat. On the far left he is looking up and at the viewer, the middle he is kind of smirking with his paw out, and the third he is in a cat carrier with some towels looking out at the viewer. They are labeled 10/1, 10/2, & 10/3

i enjoy Astarion as a character, but I regret romancing him. it's funny how he has some lovey-dovey dialogue when you're romancing him, but then you talk to him about anything else and he goes back to being a huge asshole. although, to be fair, that IS sort of what it's like dating a jerk

don't get mad at me, but I feel like a lot of the individual parts of the game are pretty mid, but they all come together to make something really excellent somehow

Baldur's Gate 3 finally clicked with me. I'm only like three years late, but I finally came around to it. I'm in Act 3

i think i say this every year, but I don't think my teacher should have showed a classroom full of 11-12 year olds that video of 9/11 footage set to an Enya song

I've probably played through ocarina four or five times, and even more times that I didn't finish. So I don't really care how it looks, but I think I've just played it too many times? i can already think of all the annoying parts that I don't want to do

Not even sure where it found the connection. No friends in common, not in my phone… idk. Maybe we were friends on my long deleted Facebook account, but I don’t think so.

Instagram just jump scared me with a push notification recommending that I follow my ex boyfriend who DIED. How is it so invasive and also so wrong

It’s also just infuriating to read, so that is also something lol

Understandable. Thank you for your service 🫡

Not sure to what extent, but we will definitely be talking about it. I will not be stopped

It has the best dust jacket of all time.

The MrBeast book opened to show both sides of the interior dust jacket. On the left is a photo of MrBeast and on the right is a photo of James Patterson. There is no text other than their printed signatures

3349

Every single chapter ending is a cliffhanger, but the chapters are only like two or three pages long in the James Patterson signature style. It creates a very funny effect

1230

Third, it’s illustrated for some reason, and the page edges look like bloody stacks of money

The page edges of the MrBeast book that are printed to look like stacks of money

Second, the premise makes zero sense. I expect there to be a twist, but the setup is that they are competing in a game to win “a billion dollars” but also to somehow select someone who is good enough to save the world by virtue of having won the game I think?

1190

The MrBeast & James Patterson book is better than I ever could have expected. For one thing, MrBeast exists and is a character in the world of the book which is incredible

Update: Earl is awake and is doing great. We get to pick him up in a couple of hours. Thank you all for your good wishes 💕

I’m so scared and worried 😭 I love him

Boy who is going to have this teeth cleaned today

A gray cat on his back with his canine teeth showing a little bit.

I hope it’s as weirdly revealing and embarrassing as the Bill Clinton ones
