Always love going to @CotsWildTweets; although the intermittent rain & gusty wind didn't help! This break has gone too fast.

Good day at the Bristol Zoo Project, after a wet start; definitely an autumnal feel now.

While we talked about the cats we met, we had a drink in the charity's cafe; I had a coffee, a bit stronger than my usual one-a-day instant 😵‍💫

We have agreed that we want to offer a home to one of the cats we met this morning 😻; however, no more deyails until I've had a positive response to my email *paces* 😬

Stop. It. Really don't think they would 'go' together.

We're going to meet 2 (very different) cats at our local animal rescue charity this morning; hoping one might be the right match 😺🤞

Thank you, I have. I hope you have a good week ahead, too.

Our team came 2nd in the Murder Mystery last night, right solution but the other team had more of the clues; great fun. Spent much of today out in the garden. 😊

Really enjoyed being part of the Murder Mystery play last night, hope the audience did too. Costume's washed & on the line. Bread's proving & it's still mild enough for the back door to be open👍

Oh, the surprises of disability; as I was transferring from wheelchair to bed last night, the corner of my transfer board snaped off! No harm done but replacement needed quickly.. 😬

At the end of a difficult week, for several reasons, we are going away for OH's sister's 60th birthday meal. Some of you know what that means for me! Have a good weekend, if you can x

I'll have to wait to see what is suggested.

They did & were very patient & helpful; unfortunately, I was unable to lie flat long enough (pelvic pain) for the scan to be completed.

Have an MRI today; as a non-weightbearing manual wheelchair user, transferring on & off the table is my concern, not the actual scan! 🤞

Thank you, I'll contact her; this condition isn't contagious and so, may not be the same.

Thank you - I'm more there but I am here!

OH's sister & husband were due for lunch out with us & OH's dad, couldn't come as they forgot the car's MOT. Had an awkward lunch with the 3 of us instead 😬

@hedgewatchers.bsky.social Wondering if anyone has experience of having a cat with stomatitis? We are considering a cat from a rescue centre who has been diagnosed & is being treated for the symptoms but our vet has different ideas. TIA

The first day of a very busy 2 weeks for me, some pleasant things & others not so; today is good as we're off to the Plant Fair Borde Hill Garden. Of course, I have a skin issue to deal with, disabled life, eh?

I wear T shirts & have worn some with 'slogans' but wouldn't want to do so with negative attitudes.

No, from an older woman's perspective; would never have done so.

Went to Bluewater yesterday, primarily to sort OH's sister's 60th present but also some shopping; encountered some really helpful assistants, too many brown clothes (yuk for me) & OH bought a tee shirt that still had a tag on.

Appalling war mongering headline on the increasing right wing BBC News website this morning.

Should have checked! To make it worse, OH's then driving me to rehearsal.

As we aren't away, I can go to rehearsal this evening but I didn't realise the food I'd planned needed to be defrosted, not cook fom frozen; OH doing dash to Co-op in rush hour 😬

Ah, understand completely; our front hedge is hideous leylandi but it's difficult as it's an effective sound baffle against the A22 traffic! Hopefully, the birds'll find alternatives.

Have just caught up properly with what's been going on; dear Flo & poor, worried you, so very sorry. Hope she continues to improve, much love to you both x

Very deep sigh - was meant to be going to Gloucestershire tomorrow for a few days, 5th time we've tried this year but one of the chickens now needs meds twice a day & we can't ask the person who was coming in to feed them. 🥺
