Democracy is slipping, but we won’t slip with it. Care for your neighbors, care for yourself. These two places, one of now, and one of the unknown, have and will forever collide- but in the unknown we must know ourselves. The future is fragile, but we are not.

“Do you think she just woke up one morning and said: I think I’ll run for city Council?” (A nod to Elle Woods 😉) I’m running for Hoover City Council. Join me as a launch my campaign at my studio Feb 16 2-4 pm. I feel called to be an artist not just on canvas- but of and for community.

Playing with framing and messaging. Small works available tomorrow, Friday. We have to take care of ourselves and each other. Don’t let them steal your joy.

All of us humans are limited by our own lifespan. Nature is not. It’s our first time here and we should idolize no one.
