Have you ever wanted to adopt a cat who looks disturbingly like Wilford Brimley??? I've got good news for you
A white Persian cat whose face looks like it has a big mustache like actor Wilford Brimley's crouches behind some scrap packing paper, big fluffy mittens sticking out underneathSame cat is sleeping in a shallow cardboard box, using one of her paws as a pillow. In photo caption reads "When your paws are that fluffy, of course they make good pillows".Same cat emerges from under a chair and stares straight up at the camera/photographer

Wishing everyone at least one nap this peaceful in the coming days
The face and one ear of a grey tabby cat pokes out of the unzipped-neck portion of my colorful fleece quarter zip. She is deeply sleeping on my stomach/chest in between my shirt and the fleece.

Here's a phenomenal street orientation graphic that shows just how grid based our streets are in a cool way!
A visual consisting of lots of small circles; each circle is a histogram showing street orientation for various cities, the cities are in alphabetical orderThe same visuals but in order of most orderly to least, Chicago's graph is almost a perfect plus shape bc of the cities nearly exclusively E/W and N/S street orientation

It's important that everyone knows she was already curly n scrunchy and she got CURLIER AND SCRUNCHIER #proofofcat
A grey tabby cat in a very tight sleep roll, if she were a croissant it would be too dense, it takes math to draw such a perfect circle

OH OH OH one eyed cat folks!!!!! We're NEW to this and I'm too stressed about it still. This is Kublai (lost it to nasty secondary glaucoma)

Nothing better than finding a good cuddle buddy on a lazy caturday "KublaiKhat
A grey tabby sleeps in a black fuzzy papasan chair with a giant plush tortoise on top of her - all that can be seen of the cat is her smushed face and one stretched pawSame situation but all that can be seen of the cat is her ears and the crown of her headSame, just a face peeking out - her single eye is open with some resting bitch face action going on (her other eye was removed due to glaucoma)Same, but her face is EXTRA smushed

She was already a clumsy goofy girl and one eye won't help, but she's going to be MUCH more effective at begging for treats lol
Gray tabby cat with white whiskers head peeking out from amongst blankets - she only has one eye but looks alert and very cute

After 8 months of health issues and almost all of that in a cone, today might be the first full cone free day since her eye removal. She is using her freedom to enjoy nature. #proofofcat

I do not know how well it works and it's treating a symptom instead of the cause but might be worth looking into!!

Screenshot of a Brian Regan stand up bit transcript that reads "So, I was driving today, and I came upon a truck… Pulling a horse trailer with a sign on the back– “caution: transporting show horses.” Ohh. “Oh, 10:00 and 2:00! “We’re sharin’ the road with show horses. “If I start to lose control, I’ll hit one of these cars with people! “Or at least a trailer with just plain old horses. But those horses, they gotta put on a show!” What are you supposed to do in a spin-out? Don’t hit the show horses! Anything but the show horses! Can you imagine hitting– [gibberish] then I came up on another truck pulling a trailer with a sign on the back, “don’t worry, just dumb old donkeys.” I was crossing over the line. Boom, boom. Boom. Hee-haw! Boom. Who cares? Just dumb old donkeys. They refuse to apply themselves. [Brays] heck with them. Those dumb old donkeys."

A DnD style alignment table across which the top we have bug body types: purist, exoskeleton and 6 legs; neutral, small and no bones; radical, no rules only vibes. Down the side we have habitat types: purist, lives mostly in or on the ground; neutral, gets around mainly by flying or swimming; radical, anywhere. Starting from the top right and reading left to right, then down, we have cicadas, snails, kittens, then shrimps, jellyfishes, pigeons, then mars rovers, tapeworms, computer errors

A saved snapchat of my own attempt to Google "what foods end with um" - the Google AI response is "According to Quora, papaya is a fruit name that ends with "um." My caption on the snap is "giggling maniacally. Also the fact that AI is pulling things from quora as fact 🙃"

This is..... a really strange claim that excludes so many people, including myself and my sister and about a quarter of my coworkers? You're right that none of us can stand this shit, though, that doesn't change.
Screenshot of a page from the Hamilton Project organization website that reads "In 2015, 3.5 million students over the age of 30 were enrolled in higher education.
This chart shows the age distribution of undergraduate students by the type of institution in which the students were enrolled in 2015. While the plurality of students at both four-year and public two-year institutions are between the ages of 18 and 24, students at for-profit institutions tend to be older: almost half are age 30 or older. Nonetheless, more than 20 percent of undergraduate students at four-year institutions are over the age of 24."

2023 did a number on us
A lemon that is a year old at least, with toothpick legs, clove eyes, and a tinfoil tail, holding a very corroded penny in its mouth, vaguely resembling a penny (serious), as the American 1970s required (joke)
