@minnesotafrost.com what were the songs you played while the kids were out playing during the first intermission yesterday? They were great

It's like the meme with the different brains lighting up: 1. floppy disk TF, 2. floppy disk TF with identity erasure, 3. floppy disk TF with temporary identity erasure

A floppy disk with a worried face, with the text "C: FORMAT A, Write-protection violation attempted"; then the same disk with a dizzy face, with the text "Saving UNFORMAT data... Format complete. Volume label?"

So as a bit of a challenge to myself, I've made pandacap.azurewebsites.net pretty much independent of Bluesky infrastructure: it follows users on their own PDSes like an RSS feed, posts using Bridgy Fed, and finds notifications with Constellation (so I guess I am still dependent on a […]

Realizing now I don't technically need this feature, I can just use a constellation server to check for mentions of my profile and likes/reposts of anything kind of recent

I'm curious to try the Bridgy Fed thing where it notifies you of interactions now. Maybe I can get away with just the one account again if that works well enough, since I can follow people on either side just fine without needing a home feed

Addie & White Stripe I had the idea last week that my OC from 14 years ago would make a great antagonist for Addie, my Spider-Man analogue. pandacap.azurewebsites.net/UserPost…

Spontaneous gift art for @lizard-socks.lakora.us of their Ekans TF'ed Ethan, evolving into an Arbok! Silly Ethan, snakes can't wear hats! 😜

Ethan the former-human-turned-Ekans, is suddenly evolving! He turns into an alt-shiny red Arbok, causing his hat to fall off his now cobra-hooded head. Post-evolution, he looks over himself in shock. He tentatively tries to perch his old hat on top of his head, but it just slides off.

A human with Rotom powers?? * Oven (actually this is even better than Rotom because it's a range with a stovetop) * Fan * Fridge (she's warm because of expelling heat from the interior) * Washing machine * Lawnmower She's powered by food, so time to break out that kcal/kWh conversion

I installed Linux on an old computer and then spent a while trying to think about why Windows XP couldn't boot (hal.dll error) - turns out I'd accidentally made the new Linux partition a primary one and XP was installed to an extended one. I just had to bump its partition number by 1 in boot.ini
