On Earth Day and every day, this is my prayer: PEACE. Peace is the presence of justice, safety & dignity for all beings and for our precious Mama Earth. It's the flourishing of all life in creative beauty & sacred possibility. It's a world rooted in kinship and belonging... in reverence & in love.

There are times that the tsunami of sociopathic havoc unleashed over the last month, on top of the baseline of violence & suffering leaves me feeling overwhelmed & inadequate. Audre Lorde cautioned against exactly that. Inducing overwhelm is a strategy of empire & we can choose not to succumb to it.
