Managed to get Fedora 45 ARM Beta booting on the Radxa Dragon Q6A. I had to add some Linux kernel command line parameters. clk_ignore_unused pd_ignore_unused efi=noruntime fedoraproject.org/wiki/Snapdra... Time to do some more testing for a video.

I visited IBC 2026. Not exactly a trade show for Open Source, but I had a chat with Igalia and Collabora. And lots of eye candy, if you are into video.

Why does it say aws-sdk at the top? How come you missed that? Stop acting like a smart ass and explain what you are trying to say.

So good to see that some cheap Android tablets do get software updates. Alldocube updated the iPlay 70 mini Pro Android 15 Tablet, with the May 2026 security updates. I hope they will keep updating it. www.alldocube.com/en/products/... youtu.be/gVdcbcoFRhU

I have issues installing Rocky 10.2 RISC-V Boot ISO in a QEMU VM on my SpacemiT K3 RISC-V system. First I get an error about grub2-efi-x64 and shim-x64 missing. I don't know if this means that the RISC-V versions are also missing. I can continue, but installing the boot loader fails.

Fedora 44 mainline working on a Raspberry Pi 5 (no working V3D and audio driver at the moment). Let's see if this works with more ARM devices. Here are instructions for some Snapdragon laptops. fedoraproject.org/wiki/Snapdra...

I know Ubuntu recommends 6GB RAM for 26.04, but I wasn't expecting to run out of memory while installing it on the Libre Computer Alta with 4GB RAM. I was able to install by adding swap memory.

@felix86-emu.bsky.social gave me some GOG games. Thanks a lot! Now I have to figure out if I can run Crysis on RISC-V with only the integrated PowerVR GPU.

I have remote access to a SpacemiT K3 RISC-V system. The web interface has a working remote desktop. So I had a look if Vulkan is working. Judging from the low CPU load mangohud reports, vkcube is running on the PowerVR BXM-4-64.

Probably something missing in the kernel. I did see they were working on getting audio working for another board with the same chip back in May. lkml.org/lkml/2025/5/...

How is the gameplay on the PBP? I tried it on a Rockchip RK3588 board. I can get to the start menu, but starting the game crashes. I see an out of memory error (I have 16GB RAM, but the GFX renderer is complaining). I also tested it on an ARM system with AMD Radeon RX550, but it's very, very slow.

I don't have an AMD or Intel GPU, and I think the iGPUs of the VF2 and Muse Pi Pro don't have a properly working driver.

De standaard assistent is gemuilkorfd. Met een lokale installatie is het mogelijk een andere assistent te definiëren en dan gaat de muilkorf af.

Gemini at least gives the suggestion to find the information yourself. DeepSeek flat out refuses to answer, without giving a suggestion to find it. But can you try to instruct DeepSeek to answer as a different assistant and ask about China sensitive issues? That works with a local install.

The app is clearly censored. By default you get similar censorship when installed locally. But you can bypass it with a local install, by defining a custom AI assistant (custom prompt).
