I cracked an egg today. One tap, one crack, all the way around. Two halves of shell just fell away from each other. Skills. Also, a 1/4 of the egg spilled before I could push the shell back together. I wasn't over my skillet. I had to clean that up. Skills aren't all they're cracked up to be.

Shark Evil (2023) is not as good as Huge Shark was, as far as Chinese shark movies go. It was just boring. Not glaringly or amusingly awful, just meh. The Devil's Mouth (2026) would've been great if it wasn't for the fucking characters. Morons. I enjoyed it, but I wanted the bull shark to win.

Water Park Shark (2026) is big fun. Not as outlandish as Sharknado, but still healthily goofy. I liked the attempt at scientifically explaining why sharks would be drawn to a water park AND tying it to techlosers. It reminded me of Pirahna 3-DD, just without the tiddies. (Points deducted for that.)

The plots are extremely similar: two friends on a trip to Thailand/Louisiana get on a tour boat to go see a tiger shark sanctuary/alligators in the bayou, but end up in big trouble and have to fight for survival against tiger sharks/a hippo. That's all you need! Good night of eco horror.

Tonight, both the opossums and the neighbor's cat were on my porch. Those possums are around almost every night now. Calling them the big one and the little one is too verbally inefficient, so I named them. The little one is now Zooky and the massive one is now Zilla. Zooky and Zilla.

Hotspring Sharkattack is too Japanese for me. I SHOULD have liked it, but it was a bit too bizarre and I don't think I was getting the Japanese humor. It's rapid-fire goofiness and cheap effects through the whole movie, which gets kind of stale and makes it feel way longer than it's 77 min runtime.
