The hobby lost a legend. We are deeply grateful to have known John, worked alongside him, and called him our friend. Rest well, John. Your legacy and influence lives on in every brushstroke.

i understand that these corporations are beloved by many, but as soon as you start defending their use of AI, even if it's "a little bit", i need you to understand that you are being used as a corporate tool to normalize AI. reject it with all your might. corporations arent your friend.

GW has sued 3D sculptor Ghamak, not bc his models infringe on their IP, but bc his models *could* be used in their games. If GW wins it will set a bad precedent further eroding creative freedom & further limiting available minis. Read/Watch. Share/Donate. www.patreon.com/posts/140813...

Super disappointed with the latest video from Once in a Six Side, talking up and hawking a generative AI service for 3d models. Immediately left his community discord and unsubscribed after seeing his own view on it and the rabid AI defenders in his community rally around it.

Having my weekend ruined by Covid, the silver lining is that some new miniatures for my Blood Angels have been ordered!

Had a great few #dnd sessions this month, thought I'd share the last three battlemaps from them. The party defended their town from waves of astral invaders and leveled up to 13! The catapult and arcane braziers were a hit with the party!

Part way through my free time this weekend and I've gotten a decent amount done, now if only the weather will clear up so I can prime some models! (Finished my first Gunpla, and assembled some printed minis) #gunpla #destiny #warhammer #dnd
