i am once again proposing that Extraction Looter be used as the genre name for games such as R.E.P.O. and Lethal Company. Games in which the main purpose is to extract loot, to meet some goal.

@apofiss.bsky.social is it possible that in the future you could offer animated Desktop Wallpapers? I'm on Linux so I have a bunch of tools to utilize Videos as Wallpapers.

my quotepost got deleted. basically Buzzfeed has made the creator of Chikn Nuggit leave the team due to them wanting to force the creator to feed the series to AI you can follow them at kyrakupetsky here and elsewhere. I presume the post the creator made was deleted by upper staff to hide things

New Year Resolutions... nah. Won't do those this year, I always end up failing. I've started a massive career change, and that is terrifying to me. I will get some progress on it before the end of the year. But its a marathon, not a sprint.

Been seeing a worrying trend across Bluesky at large, and i'm afraid it's likely gotten too far too fast and is too late to correct. Basically people are using the "Alt Text" to append additional information (such as tagging) that is not present on the Original image. 🧵

Very funny to compare this to the Valve hardware announcement video, and think back to the Amazon guy on LinkedIn who was like, “why can’t we compete with Valve??? It is a mystery!!!”

(This post is gonna land me on a few blocklists just for mentioning a site) My X/Twitter account got banned. But I'm always hesitant to post on bsky, because this site has a blocking culture problem imo. You can just arbitrarily be blocked for no apparent reason. Sure i shouldn't concern- (1/?)

Memories of fishing 💜 ( @shikiturret.xyz did a wonderful job recreating a past Webfishing session with the homies, I love it so much!!)

Five friends in Webfishing, posing in front of the tree in the main square. From left to right:
- Moe, a dark purple dog with a brown snout. He's wearing a hat with an exclamation point block and a white shirt with a purple fish. He's standing and smiling with his mouth open, whilte holding a fishing rod.
- Java, A brown and white raccoon wearing a red flannel and jeans. He's also wearing a green beanie and a black t-shirt under the flannel. He's sitting and thinking.
- Timpani, a white and lavender squirrel wearing a sunhat, tannish buttoned shirt, and deep blue blouse. They're posing happily. Behind them, a little black cat (the secret friend WORM) stares at the camera.
- Mey, a light brown dog with a white snout and spots. She's wearing a t-shirt with a yellow fish, and round glasses. She's sitting and smiling at the camera, one eyebrow raised.
- Shiki, a purple and white cat. They're wearing a deep blue t-shirt with a rainbow and black pants. They're holding a fishing rod and laughing.

On the ground are a couple doodles:
- On the left, a yippee creature with Timpani's beret and hair
- On the right, a chibi dog saying "woof"

Got a functional achievement system setup for my stream! Viewers can earn achievements which appear in the lower third region of the screen. Various actions can trigger achievements such as raiding, running certain redeems, or triggering secret phrases!

It just occurred to me that some folks are joining us directly from Xitter and never took a detour to other Twitter-alts. One massive perk of Bluesky is the ability to detach yourself from a QT by selecting "..." then "Detach quote"
