Only got 341 words in today, but considering the last two days were extra, I'm still on track if I want to do 1K a day to get 20K in a month. But I have GOT to step up my game! #WIP #WritingCommunity #writing #writers #FantasyWriting

All right. Now I am pretty sure I've solved the issues with the end of this beast and now I'm back at it! Goal will be 1K words a day, but today was an "ease in." Words written today: 547. #WIP #WritingCommunity #writing #writers #FantasyWriting

I think I've finally settled the end of this book, wrote 356 words, then realized...I need to think about how naval battles and boats are going to work in this magical world because I decided on a big naval battle... Frell. 🤦‍♀️😆 #WIP #WritingCommunity #writing #writers #FantasyWriting

Seriously, are there any actual writers who want to talk to writers about writing on here or is every reply going to be, "Wow! What amazing progress...let me continue to pretend like I care for several posts and then try to sell my services you didn't ask for..."?

Banged out another 1890 words today. Just a little under that to go to make it officially that I added 100K over these last two months, rather than the book just reaching 100K (I started with just 4K). THEN I take a break! 😆 #WIP #WritingCommunity #writing #writers #FantasyWriting

Goal achieved! Now, technically I started with 3700+ in the book before I started, so I'm going to do another 4K before I take a mental break. Did some replanning of the end of the novel for most of the day: it will be shorter, but I have more to sort. #WIP #WritingCommunity #writing #writers

I am actually planning to make at least one of the board games from my novel. "Double Cross" is like "Connect Four," except you can play with more than 2 players and you can steal other people's rows under the right conditions.

Each god (the source of all magic) has a set festival. People introduce themselves by the god's who magic they have. There's also an entire religion with unique people that serve in certain positions (ex: the Soul Seer, the Dreamdancer).

I have 4K words to go to hit 100K. I think it's fair to make that my last push and force myself to hit that over Tues-Wed. Then I am allowed to take a break. 100K? I mean, that means I've basically done an entire novel in 45 days. Phew! #WIP #writing #WriterCommunity #FantasyWriting
