Counting down to the After Forever reunion(-ish) shows this weekend (I'm looking forward to Sunday 🤘) Today probably my fav album: Decipher. The second album by the band. My copy was signed by Floor Jansen during the 2003 Star One tour. Damian Wilson signed it too...

LiveProg (Marcel Haster) @liveprog.nl · 02/10/2025

Continuing the countdown to the After Forever reunion (-ish) show this Sunday (for me, at least): the third release by After Forever: Exordium. An EP, with an instrumental song and two covers: Iron Maiden's The Evil That Men Do and a surprising one! One Day I'll Fly Away by Randy Crawford.

LiveProg (Marcel Haster) @liveprog.nl · 19/09/2025

There is a brand new album by Cea Serin out. The World Outside was released a week ago. Now I sort of talked about this album 11 years ago, but never thought 11 years later, I'd be actually having this album in my hands! Watch the full review here: youtu.be/8AE-x0defok

Been working all weekend, painting the bedroom. Now winding down with album I don't play enough...Prince's Welcome 2 America. 💜

LiveProg (Marcel Haster) @liveprog.nl · 08/09/2025

This weekend my studio was used as storage room, as well have been painting our bedroom. So unfortunately this means I did not get to work on the interviews and that I have not been able to record a new Two Minute Tuesday 🫤 I'll make it up later this week!

In the category 'albums I haven't played in ages' and the category 'albums with weird covers', I picked Clepsydra's Alone for today. And it still is a fantastic prog album!

LiveProg (Marcel Haster) @liveprog.nl · 27/08/2025

Last Sunday I had to get out of the house, even for a while. So I visited my two favourite stores! The CD Teek in Eindhoven, for my music fix. I bought a copy of Roger Water's Is This The Life We Really Want? And close by, Eppo Strips, a comic book store and picked up the last volume of Green Class

More driving music, for the way home...a most excellent album by a young Dutch prog band, Chain Reaktor, Homesick. Sadly their only album, but absolutely amazing! Highly recommended! 👍

Musical week day 4: Miss Saigon. There was a time when the Mrs and I enjoyed musicals and in those days you still had many record shops, so when we came across Miss Saigon, we bought it. Halen's played it in ages, but back in the day In really enjoyed it. So it's nice to finally revisit it!

LiveProg (Marcel Haster) @liveprog.nl · 20/08/2025

Day 3 in musical week and my pick is She, the first Clive Nolan musical. Beautiful work and close to me, as I have been attached to She in various ways: interviewer, webmaster and videographer. I had the pleasure to see She twice in theatre!

It took a while, but I'm giving Saga a second chance. Years ago I tried, can't remember which album it was, but I found them a bit boring. Now I bought The Security of Illusion (1993) and I am absolutely loving this one!
