I would not say that my writing is comedic either. It is a mess. At one point, I had two concurrent storylines, one a wedding between a somewhat normal guy and a mimic, another featuring a gladiator unwittingly fighting to save their boyfriend.

Oh they definitely exist and people do talk about them. Just not in a good way. But saying that any developer who manages to publish any game is not lazy is a bit extreme too, do you not think? By that logic, shovelware producers are not lazy either.

Eh, fair enough. There are definitely plenty of games where, despite being not very good, the developers did their best. But there are definitely games that barely count as games, just a handful of Unreal Engine default assets, and are just there to launder money through Steam too.

That is why I always recommend Minecraft. The person who builds houses on creative mode is just as valid and is havig just as much fun as the person who fights the ender dragon. The java edition though. Bedrock edition is a bit... ugh...
