"It's like Lenin said: you look for the person who will benefit..." "I am the walrus?"

I tried to do the math once about the likelihood of trans kid acceptance within parents and got dismayed to realize it is probably one in ten. Two in twenty-five for both parents.

Hate to bring up "Dark Knight Joker" with this but the line "They'll cast you out, like a leper" has always stuck with me when it comes to this. Because it's right.

I hope that neither of you are. ❤️ Having said that, I do understand why you both have that fear. I wish more of us could see old age as an option, and not something that may come in spite of the odds.

Excellent. Don't even burn them all, recycle the books and they'll be more useful.

Such a shame the political options for us just evaporate. Even the promising ones.

His eagerness to have a cameo in GoT should have been a sign

How quickly everyone forgets: this was along the same arguments made for Labour in the UK. And look at how that turned out. As a ridiculous President once said "Fool me once, shame on... shame on you. Fool me—you can't get fooled again."

We have so far to go yet. Times like these remind me of that.

I wish it didn't have to be like this. We can't even take good faith anymore. Labour in the UK was supposed to be the "better" option and they completely sold us out in the face of opposition.

Tragic how so often so many things stem back to self hatred

I for one hope to see the day that trans minors not only get access to hormones, but whatever surgeries they want. Not with these cis fucks around of course but.

"Watch the movies, but maybe not the first one. No, I mean the first one from the old set, the first one from the new set is pretty okay. Not the second one though. No the second one from the old set is a masterpiece."

No matter what the Pope says they'd prefer *not* to have any trans people period so. Also the Catholics sit on a shitload of gold and churches should be taxed out the ass.

A lot of Americans proving these days why it's going to be hard to convince any Canadian travelling back down there is a good idea.
