i try to redraw this piece every year, but ended up doing two versions this year because i had multiple ideas! i’m especially proud of the shading this year #art #artist #ocart #oc #digitalart #redraw #yearlyredraw

A digital drawing of two characters flying in a starry night sky. Aurora, a purple deer-like animal with wings, is holding up Equilibrium, a tan cat-like animal with dragon wings spread wide, one of which is torn.

A digital drawing of a close up of two characters reaching out to each other. One is a purple deer-like animal with wings, and the other is a tan cat-like animal with dragon wings, one of which is torn. They each have a small lantern, and the background is a starry night sky.

happy birthday patton! somehow i always miss the sides’ birthdays, but better late than never! i had a lot of fun just doing a silly little drawing for this #art #sanderssides #tss #pattonsanders #artist

A digital drawing of young Patton from Sanders Sides. He has light skin, dark brown curly hair, and round silver glasses. He is wearing a white shirt, blue overalls, and a blue bucket hat. He has one eye closed and is taking a picture of a cupcake on the edge of the drawing with a camera. The cupcake has a blue candle in it.

been using sunbeam as a subject for messing around with traditional mediums recently! i love her #art #artist #warriors #warriorcats #sunbeam #collage #watercolor

A pencil and watercolor drawing of Sunbeam, Lightleap, Nightheart, and Berryheart from Warriors. Sunbeam’s head is in the front middle of the page, and she is crying, with her ears back and her paws over her head. From left to right, Nightheart, Berryheart, and Lightleap are drawn smaller around her, all in purple and looking away from her. Nightheart looks excited, Lightleap looks mad, and Berryheart’s face is turned away from the viewer. The background is blue.

A painting of Sunbeam from Warriors. She is painted half in orange and half in pink. She is sitting down and hunched over with her shoulders up, and the orange half of her face is sad while the pink half is angry. The background is dark purple with small visible paintbrush strokes all pointing inwards toward her.

A collage with a drawing of Sunbeam from Warriors as the main image, in the bottom right corner. She is on a background of diagonal white and iridescent silver stripes pointed toward her. Radiating outward from behind her are triangular paper scraps in yellow and pink, and they are reminiscent of a sun. In between the stripes in the background, small orange and yellow suns have been drawn in a circle around her. At the three other corners there are little pink, orange, and yellow rainbows.

some of my favorite pieces from a color and design class last semester! #art #artist #warriorcats #horse #cat #mylittlepony #watercolor #gouache #fanart

A pen and watercolor drawing of Leafpool and Mothwing from Warriors laying next to each other in a field of orange and pink flowers. Leafpool is a dark brown cat with a lighter muzzle and belly, freckles, and a heart spot on her chest. She is wearing a orange and pink flower crown. Mothwing is a golden cat with a moth's wing tucked behind her ear.

A gouache painting of the fire scene from Warriors. There are the outlines of three cats in the center, with trees and fire all around them, and a log with a paw with claws extended visible in front of them. The whole painting is done in bright yellow and dark pink.

A watercolor painting of the Moonpool from Warriors. The Moonpool is in the center, with the moon and star reflected in it. It is giving off a starry glow. All around it is dirt with paw prints circling the pool.

a plush i made for one of hebi_haberdashery's videos! i think she turned out super cute, and i'm proud of what i accomplished despite my limited sewing skills and questionable fabric. pattern is also by hebi, and the video she's in is up on their channel! #art #artist #ocart #wingsoffire #skywing

A picture of a orange, black, and dark blue Beanie Baby style dragon plush. It is a SkyWing from the Wings of Fire series, and the black and dark blue fabric has star and celestial patterns. It has light muted green eyes and a black nose ring. The head of the dragon is facing the camera, and the rest of the body is at an angle. The background is two Wings of Fire books, one open at the back so the words on the page are visible and one closed underneath the plush, Talons of Power.

Another picture of the same plush and the same background, but the plush is turned to the side and its wings are propped up.

A drawing of the dragon character the plush is of. In the drawing, she also has a choker with a star on it and chain jewelry on her horns with a moon and sun. Next to the drawing, there is writing that says "Penny" in big letters and "wanted to be a pediatric doctor but ended up as a war nurse, takes care of refugees' kids when she can" in smaller letters.

my artfight attacks this year! perhaps a rather late post, but this summer was jam packed. pretty proud of what i managed to do for artfight despite all that!! these characters belong to yellowsfoxes, zezzulii, DiscoScar, and RabidCrow on artfight! #art #artist #ocart #artfight

A drawing of four anthropomorphic cats standing together. One is brown and wearing an aviator jacket and cap and goggles, with baggy pants and a prosthetic leg. my entry for @starrymangos.bsky.social dtiys!! their oc is so so pretty and i had a lot of fun with these pieces, the icon especially. both of them are a little bit more experimental for me and a bit rough around the edges, but i think they still turned out super fun! #art #oc #dtiys #etoiledtiys

An icon drawing of a white humanoid, Etoile, with big pointed ears and black and spwhite striped horns. She has rainbow stripes on the inside of her ears and lots of freckles, some of which are star shaped. She has short hair that is teal on top and red on the bottom and a red nose. Her outfit and eye makeup resemble a clown or jester, and she has several gold ear piercings with stars. Her red pupils are also star shaped, with a white star in the middle. The background is white with red stars.

A fullbody drawing of the same character with a different outfit. She is wearing a fitted orange cropped tank top with a heart cutout, a red loose cropped shirt, and orange striped arm warmers, with a couple bracelets and rings on each hand. She has jean shorts with stars on the pockets and a gold chain and star charm, ripped tights, and orange and red socks with frills. Her shoes are white chunky sneakers with red laces and a blue puffball on the front, and she is wearing round gold sunglasses and a purple headband. The background was red, orange, yellow, and white, with white chain patterns dangling down from the top and sides of the canvas.

happy birthday @thomassanders.bsky.social !!!! this is a redraw of a piece from about two and a half years ago, which is wild!

An illustration of all of the sides from the show Sanders Sides in their skirt looks. Roman is the shortest, with pale skin and swoopy brown hair. He is wearing a red ball gown, a cropped white jacket with gold buttons, and has red and gold eye makeup. Remus is a tiny bit taller than Roman, with pale skin and dark brown hair with a white streak partially shaved and up in a bun. He is wearing a black mesh shirt and leggings, a bright green tank top and tutu, black combat boots, a necklace with teeth, silver octopus earrings, a spiked bracelet, and black eye makeup. He is holding Logan’s elbow. Logan has a hand in his pocket and one holding Virgil’s hand, and they are looking at each other. He is tall, with pale skin and short dark brown hair. He is wearing a black dress shirt, formal shoes and tights, and a dark blue tie, vest, and skirt. He has cat eye glasses, a watch, and planet stud earrings. Virgil is the tallest and skinny, with very pale skin and long brown hair dyed purple at the ends in pigtails. He is wearing a white T-shirt, a black jacket, a purple plaid skirt, a studded belt, black and white striped tights, and black shoes with purple laces, and has dark purple eye makeup. He has snakebites, knife dangly earrings, and many other ear piercings. Patton is holding on to Virgil’s arm and looking at Janus. He is shorter and chubby, with pale skin and short, curly light brown hair. He is wearing a blue button up shirt with the sleeves rolled up, a light yellow skirt with suspenders with paws, round glasses, and heart stud earrings. Janus is holding one of Patton’s hands and his other hand is on Patton’s face. He is average height, with pale skin, short brown hair, and half of his face is covered in snake scales. One of his eyes resembles a snake eye, and one of his ears is pointed. He is wearing a black capelet with a yellow collar, long gloves, and heels, a black skirt with a bow at the waist and sun hat, gray tights, gold hoop earrings and a snake bracelet.

The original drawing, with all of the characters still in their skirt looks. The art style is much simpler, and has line art slightly colored with each character’s color. It has outlines as the background still, but behind them is transparent and there are no hearts. All of the characters are about the same height and body type, and are closer to their canon designs.

part one of rough reference sheets for my sanders sides designs!! part two coming soon :) it’s one of my favorite shows ever, and patton is one of my favorite characters from any media. if i have to draw anything, i default to tss characters. #sanderssides #art #tss #thomassanders #fanart

A rough drawing reference sheet for Anxiety, also known as Virgil, from Sanders Sides, with a full body and two headshots. He is tall with pale skin and mismatched teal and brown eyes, and has brown hair in a long, somewhat ratty mullet, with the ends dyed purple. He has snakebite piercings, along with many ear piercings and knife earrings, and is wearing a thin black choker with a spider charm. He is also wearing a black jacket with patches of purple plaid on the sleeves, pockets, hood, and drawstring. He has a lighter purple shirt with holes in it under the sweatshirt, black cargo pants with lots of pockets, doc martens, and fishnet gloves. One of the headshots is of a look for nicer occasions, and his hair is in pigtails with long black ribbons.

a redraw of an artwork from almost four years ago (which is kind of crazy), when i was really still beginning my digital art journey. this drawing also features soft redesigns of the cmc! discord had redesign privileges revoked for this illustration because he’s already complicated enough. #mlp #art

An illustration of the Mane six, Discord, spike, and the cutie mark crusaders from My Little Pony, using the artist’s redesigns. From left to right, Discord has his arm around Fluttershy, who is standing next to him, and Pinkie Pie is on Discord’s back, looking over his head. Rarity is next to them, half standing, with sweetie Belle balancing precariously on top of her head, looking exasperated but amused with one leg resting on fluttershy’s back. Sweetie Belle is looking at Discord and Pinkie Pie, stretching her head towards them. Rainbow Dash is flying down towards all of them with Scootaloo clinging to her back and closing her eyes. Twilight is next to Fluttershy, sitting with Spike. She is carrying several scrolls with magic, and looks tiredly at Spike. Spike has a sarcastic expression looking back at her, and is carrying another scroll. On the far right, Applejack is sitting with Apple Bloom on her head, looking good-naturedly up at her. Apple Bloom is wearing Applejack’s hat, which is much too big for her, and pointing towards Sweetie Belle. The background is a low opacity version of the Ponyville background from the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic show. This drawing is the redraw of the next drawing.

An illustration of the mane six, discord, capper, spike, and the cutie mark crusaders from my little pony, using the character’s canon designs with slightly altered cutie marks. From left to right, discord is carrying fluttershy and has pinkie pie on his shoulders, reaching out to Sweetie Belle. She is on Capper’s head, being supported by rarity. Applejack is supporting capper and rarity is standing on her back, and looks strained. Rainbow dash is flying and helping scootaloo climb up rarity’s back. Twilight is carrying scrolls that spike, who is laying the floor, dropped with magic, as well as Apple bloom. The background is a mix of several colors. This drawing is the old version of the previous drawing.

A doodle of the artist’s sona, a fairy with pigtails, overalls, and a ladybug antenna headband. She is laying down next to an iPad, holding an Apple Pencil, and looking tiredly at the viewer. The text above her says “did all 6 hours of this in one day” with an arrow pointing towards the doodle, and the text below her says “was slowly dying by the end” with another arrow pointing towards the doodle. The background is a low opacity version of the Ponyville background from the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic show.

my new (very silly) epic the musical animatic is up on instagram!! you should go check it out! here are the thumbnails plus bonus hermes and athena designs :) #epic #epicthemusical #epicthemusicalfanart #fanart #greekmythology #mythology #hermes #athena #theodyssey

There are three iterations of sketches of Hermes from Epic the Musical and seven thumbnails for an animatics. Hermes has short, wavy hair pulled into pigtails and small wings covering his eyes. He is wearing a flowy tank top with wings for the collar, very high waisted pants, and thigh high boots with wings on them. He has a messenger bag with a strap that resembles a snake, a snake arm band, and snake earrings on his pointed ears. The first thumbnail is of Odysseus and Aeolus, with the winions in the background. The second thumbnail is of Odysseus and Poseidon, with Poseidon looming over Odysseus’ ship. The third thumbnail is of Odysseus and Circe in her palace. The fourth thumbnail is of Odysseus and Tiresias, with swirls in the background. The fifth thumbnail is of Odysseus and his crew attacking a siren. The sixth thumbnail is of Odysseus and Scylla, with her and two of her heads looming over his ship. The seventh thumbnail is of Odysseus and Eurylochus and their crew. In all of the thumbnails, Odysseus has a baby in a baby bjorn on his chest.

Several sketches of Athena from Epic the Musical, two fullbody and two waist up. There is also a sketch of her spear, shield, and the floor of her realm, which looks like a chess board. She is very tall and wearing Ancient Greek armor, with a helmet shaped like an owl on the face and feathers on the top. She has a cape that is shaped like bird tail feathers at the end and arm braces. Her ears are feathered, but are also reminiscent of a laurel crown in their shape, and she has talons for feet.

some sketches for something i’m working on 👀 i recently listened to all of epic the musical, and all of the songs will be stuck in my head forever now. athena is my favorite and i love her. #art #artist #epic #epicthemusical #epicthemusicalfanart #fanart #greekmythology #theodyssey

Sketches in a cartoon style of Odysseus, Circe, Eurylochus, Tiresias, Poseidon, and Aeolus from Epic the Musical in a sketchbook. Odysseus has messy hair, a short cape/cloak, and a fabric strip wrapped around one wrist, and has a baby strapped to his chest. Circe has her hair in two very long bubble braids, with flowers and ribbons tied around them and her wrists, and is wearing a cropped tank top, long skirt, and tall sandals. Eurylochus is wearing Ancient Greek armor, a half cape, and a shield on his back, and has scars on his left eye and right elbow. Tiresias is wearing a short cloak and carries a staff, and the curled end of the staff and his eyes are glowing. Poseidon has fin ears and long, flowy hair, and is wearing short Ancient Greek clothing pinned on one shoulder, a belt with a horse head design, and upper arm braces with horses and wave designs, and is carrying a trident. Aeolus has very fluffy curly hair and pointed ears, and is wearing a cropped tank top and poofy pants that both have lace edges and long gloves with cloud designs on the edge.

Sketches in a cartoon style of Scylla and a siren from Epic the Musical in a sketchbook. Scylla has long straight hair, large fin ears, a mermaid tail, and dogs attached to her waist, and is wearing a bikini type top with beads that look like drips attached to the bottom. The dogs are cute puppies in one sketch, and big, scary heads with fin ears and spike collars with drip beads attached in another. The siren is a mermaid with pointy ears and all black eyes, wearing a flowy top with poofy sleeves and pearls attached to the edges, several pearl earrings, and strands of pearls draped on her tail and in her hair, which is done in a very big braid.

this is a redraw of an old art piece! i had intended to redraw it every year, to track my progress, but it's been a couple years since i drew the last one! there's a version with and without shading. #art #artist #cats #fantasy

A scene with two fantasy cats with horns and wings, one is purple and pink and the other is tan, white, and orange. They are against a night sky background, with one in the sky holding the paw of the one on the ground.

A version of the first image without shading

An even older version of the first image, though this time the two cats are both in the sky, flying.
