What I'm currently working on: When 3D racers are enabled, the small ranking portraits now also show the current appearance (even with costumes!). This is done by capturing image data from the frame buffer in the Player Select screen. #MarioKart64 #MK64 #N64 #OverKart64 #AmpedUp

Since I am developing it with Project64, I can safely say that it will run perfectly fine with that emulator. Also, GlideN64 graphics plugin. But in the end, it's up to you with which emulation setup you enjoy the game.

Awesome! I hope your local game store will love it too! With so many custom settings and game modes in Amped Up, you could tailor a tournament to everyones liking. Don't like the blue shell? Turn it off! Knock-Out mode like in the newes Mario Kart? It's there too!

The footage shown is on emulator, there is even a 60fps option and various aspect ratio settings. For console play, it's naturally more important to have good performance. But it will auto-detect console and make adjustments based on processing load there, to get the best out of it.

The music player has different flags to pause/mute the music. However since the audio task needs to run anyway for sound effects, it doesn't make a big impact on performance. Not drawing the HUD will improve the performance more. I haven't measured it tho, there is no noticable difference at least
