Also, the lever you need to pull in order to raise the water and gain fill access to the Swamp Palace, you need to do it each time you start a new session. It's a minor thing but through 2026 eyes it feels like a huge oversight.

For one, I forgot while in the dark world you ALWAYS START AT THE TOP OF THE PYRAMID, instead of, oh, the entrance to the dungeon you were in when you saved is a particular delight.

After wrapping up Twilight Princess I've decided to give LTTP a spin as it's been an unreasonably long time since I last played it. Veeeery interesting playing through 2026 eyes and looking at the things the game does and doesn't remember to store with each session.

I'm 2 months from my grandfather's passing and it hits in waves, and will likely continue to do so and I miss him terribly, but I know he's at peace and resting till we meet again.
