Whenever a clip or animation comes up for Sam rolling a 0 in campaign 2. I have to watch. Probably one of the funniest moments in all of Critical Role. 😂

Nothing like a Saturday morning getting the cars oil changed. They said sarcastically.

Ended session as they're starting a dungeon crawl. Picking up next session with initiative. Going to be fun.

One of my players got me this awesome glass.

It's the weekend and that means it's almost time to roll some dice.

They're just standing there. MENACINGLY!

A new fighter subclass was released yesterday, and it is one of the best options for the class in some time. Let's take a look at the brand new, Sorrow Knight for D&D. www.youtube.com/watch?v=6K3H...

It's finally cold enough here consistently for hoodies. I'm happy.

010

Literary DM @literarydm.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Talking about a subclass called Sorrow Knight when you have a stammer is absolute hell 😂 I basically slurred through every pronunciation of the thing while recording this video for tomorrow. Oh well.

It's at the corner of my eye. The amount of times I've attempted to reach for this candle thinking it was a coffee mug today is far too many. I need it to be the weekend. 😂

020

Literary DM @literarydm.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

It's October. Let the fun begin!

000

Literary DM @literarydm.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

Had the weirdest dream. Instead of it being animated The Mighty Nein was live action, and Christopher Lloyd played Caleb for some reason? What?!

011

Literary DM @literarydm.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Tonight is the perfect night to play some D&D. I'm in the perfect mood to see evil get it's teeth kicked in.

Whenever I play through Wind Waker I avoid killing Peahats if I can. The squeak sound they make when they die destroys me every time. 😭

There's a nature trail basically right behind where I live. Went for a walk around dusk after dinner and heard a Barrier owl. It's a simple thing but made me so happy to know one may have that lives nearby.

Literary DM @literarydm.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Not me debating to run another Zelda themed campaign. 😂 For real though it won't be for a while. Got two games going at the moment already.

020

Literary DM @literarydm.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

The hype for Ocarina is real. I loved the Wild era but I'm excited for more classic Zelda vibes. So might as well play some Wind Waker. (I'm glad I have a copy of HD cause my GameCube copy is scratched beyond belief).

One time when playing a Star Wars game. I forgot for a moment we were in that universe and not Pathfinder 1e. So I tried to kick in a door assuming it was wooden. It was metal. That being said I roll well enough to dent the door and had to explain I forgot what game we were playing for a moment 😂

There are downsides to living with D&D players. Keeping an eye out for loose dice is the biggest ,😂 New short now up on YouTube (Link below)

Helped the parents get this countertop in for a coffee bar. The thing weighed a ton, but it looks good.

Enjoy my crappy drawing or Kelemvors symbol in my notes when making adjustments for a pre-writren dungeon. (Still better than AI slop, and it took me 30 seconds).

Literary DM @literarydm.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

One more cold brew before the cold really sets in. Chocolate churro cold brew, still good. Sad it's on the seasonal menu here.

020

Literary DM @literarydm.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

Sure. Why not do another BG3 playthrough. This time as my stars druid, Kitt.

Everyone who's going to pre-release for Reality Fracture this weekend. May your pulls be great and games be fun!

When work gets intense, that's when I put on Search for Grog. Probably one of my favorite one shots from Critical Role.

Literary DM @literarydm.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

Satisfying number is satisfying! Keep getting closer to that goal of 3k by years end. It keeps blowing me away how many of you have joined me on this journey. Where we talk D&D and other RPGs. Keep being awesome everyone!

Dungeon Masters play along teased a new monster to D&D from the up and coming World of Warcraft expansion, and it exists to target casters. Let's take a look at it. (Link below)

It's dangerous to go alone. Take this.

I genuinely hate how on some apps now a button for AI exists where my thumb naturally falls, or where I hit due to muscle memory for another button. (EG - add to story now has muse). No! I don't want to use it. Stop forcing it!

020

Literary DM @literarydm.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

When I was in college I basically lived with majority of my D&D party. Let me tell you there were mornings I'd wake up and basically have to dodge d4s because it was either missed or we forget to grab it. It was an amazing time but also, ouch.

020

Literary DM @literarydm.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

Youtube just gave me a Christmas ad.... Get that shit out of here! It's the spooky season!

020

Literary DM @literarydm.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

I won't lie. It took me way too long to figure out cal meant calories. For a second there I thought it meant caliber, and I was trying to figure out why the hell they named it that.

Literary DM @literarydm.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

Me constantly doing the math in budgeting to get a Switch 2, 😂 OoT Remake shall be mine! (Of course I'm getting an update to one of my favorite games, and the game that got me into Zelda).

Celebrated a birthday today and we grilled burgers in the rain. They were great

Mind kept racing, and said no sleep for you. So might as well prep stuff.

Kicking off the weekend with good company, good food and good drink. Hope you all had a good night.

Literary DM @literarydm.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

May not have session tonight, but going out to eat with the crew is also good. Especially after a long week. Seriously this week felt like an eternity.

020

Literary DM @literarydm.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

Just had a thought. Hope and Fear introduced things like Arcane Rifle to Daggerheart. I wonder how soon it'll be before we get a Gunslinger for the game. I'd be curious to see that games spin on the concept.

This card has the same energy as that one kid on the playground who had the "infinity proof shield."

010

Don't worry. Just dealing with the ultimate betrayal. My coffee tried to assassinate me this morning by going down my windpipe instead. 😂

Literary DM @literarydm.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

The algorithm has picked up on my habits. Now I'm getting endless ads for Daggerheart and Hero Forge, 😂

1110

Literary DM @literarydm.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

I bought these Daggerheart dice at GenCon. I now have a reason to use them.

030

Literary DM @literarydm.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

Rewatching some of the gameplay footage. I just noticed that Navi dances when you play your Ocarina along with Link playing the notes. That is such a fun detail.

It's been a hot minute since I've made a character for a campaign. Part of it is anxiety in playing with different people online. Going to cons has aided in that. Even if they're short. Hoping to get more games in the future.

120

Literary DM @literarydm.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

I love it when games do stuff like this. Can help make a character quickly in a pinch, or if you're overcome by analysis paralysis. Happy to see it become more and more common. (Also mage robes in Daggerheart slap).
