I finished 2 Corinthians for the LIT Bible. It's one of those that I struggled to remember what it was about except for a couple common quotes (New Creation!). But now, I have a newfound appreciation for it.

2 Corinthians in the LIT Bible is coming soon! Take a peak at 12:9-10
God said to me, “My generosity is enough for you.” After all, power is made complete in weakness. Therefore, I will brag even more gladly about my weaknesses so that Christ’s power will take up residence in me. That’s why I prefer weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and being hemmed in for the sake of Christ: because when I am weak, that’s when I’m powerful.

A screenshot of a social media exchange. The original post reads, "You can’t be a Christian and a liberal at the same time they contradict," followed by an emoji of a face with rolling eyes. The comment is a response from father nathan, who quotes Leviticus 19:33–34:
“When a foreigner resides among you in your land, do not mistreat them. The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself, for you were also once foreigners. I am the Lord your God.”

You see, I was hungry and you didn’t give me anything to eat, I was thirsty and you didn’t give me anything to drink, I was an immigrant and you didn’t welcome me in, I was naked and you didn’t give me clothing, and I was sick and in prison and you didn’t care for me.’ Then they also will respond to him and ask, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or an immigrant or naked or sick or in prison and not serve you?’ Then he will answer them, ‘Honestly, I’m telling you, as much as you did not do for one of these who are least respected, you did not do for me.’

But now, in addition to those, remove all these things: aggression, rage, animosity, disrespectful speech, and abusive speech from your mouth. Don’t mislead each other since you have taken off the former person with their practices; put on the new one who is being renewed toward a way of thinking based on the image of the one who created them. In that way of thinking, there is no labeling people as Greek or Jew, circumcised or having foreskin, uncultured or uncivilized, enslaved or free, but instead, Christ is everything and in everything. (Colossians 3:8-11 LIT)
