#ParkinsonsDementia is having your father yell NO in the middle of the street at 11 pm because he's refusing to come home. It's seeing him live fully inside his delusions as he fails to recognize where he is, when he is, and who he is. It's insomnia. It's frustration. I hate it.

Hubby & I are celebrating our dating anniversary today. We met as kids & started "dating" in junior high when he asked me out by slipping a note to me through a friend. It said, “Will you go out with me?” & had two checkboxes. That was 39 years ago today. He asked again, and of course, I said yes.

Photograph of an open greeting card. On the left, it reads:

I'm telling you that I'm proud to be your husband
And grateful for all you do
To make a loving home for our family.

I'm saying that you've changed my life
for the better
And that no dream of tomorrow
Would be complete
Without you there by my side.

There are red hearts at the bottom.

On the right side the card reads:
I LOVE YOU.
That's all I know to say,
but in my heart,
it's everything.

Happy Anniversary

Handwritten under this is a note that reads:

Here's a flashback:
Will you go out with me?

There are two checkboxes marked Yes/No with a red checkmark on Yes

Love, Anthony is the signature
