I mean people already have changed their names for products/have had their parents do a 'name your kid x for y' thing And in that case you as the named one don't even really get anything from that unless you end up really digging Bethesda games which I doubt you would after being named Dovahkiin

More so in that often the name probably doesn't fit them and they try a bit to kinda either fit into it more or oppose it more so people should be more able to pick the name that actually fits themself than like full on 'if you're named x you will be y'

Also yeah I agree that it isn't a super huge thing but also changes should be way more normalized I think it's just kinda I feel like naming is given too much power and also not to get all like essentialism/like 2nd tier nature but I do feel like the name does influence the person to an extent
