Most MAGAs have what social psychologists call high social dominance orientation. Social dominance orientation (SDO) is a person’s support for hierarchies and the desire for their in-group to dominate other groups. High SDO individuals are lower in empathy and believe interactions between groups are a zero-sum game. SDO is a stable, heritable personality trait. In other words, you cannot change their minds.
