Curious to know-if the player had taken performance enhancing drugs & got banned & then FIFA discussed it with a politician & delayed the ban, allowing the player to play. Would you consider it as ok & a professional choice for the manager to pick the player and for the enhanced player to play?

Couldn't agree more. My 89 yr old mum is constantly telling me "news" from Facebook that is utter nonsense (lost count of the times she has asked why I haven't told her the King has died 🙈). And I need to clear out the groups/pages that get in front of her and she starts following on a weekly basis.

If we are to believe they don't choose advertising channels based on alignment to brand values & instead indiscriminately advertise everywhere to maximise over 18s reach, then I assume they must also advertise on all the porn channels. Just look at the Family Court where there is no jury, "evidence" can equate to the Judge's opinion ..oh & then the Judge can seal the file making it illegal for anyone to ever share anything about the case including the Judge's input & conclusions. Is that where we are headed in Criminal Court too?

Im in the UK too. Appeal in Family Court = only allowed once & involves a colleague of the presiding judge having a read of the papers & in my friends case concluding 'The Judge can do what he likes' That's it, game over, banned from disclosing, just shut up & suffer the consequences. Barbaric

I only have one experience ...a very close friend and the 'evidence' was basically, the view of Judge of what a 'woman should just know about her role'. ....then the Judge sealed the case so that it's illegal to discuss it. Like something you'd expect in a corrupt country

Couldn't agree more but it's very hard to fix without leaving a demographic trapped in poverty and of course whichever demographic it is, won't include any of the people who caused it all or who profit from it. Also requires a mindset shift back to pre-Thatcher ie it's great to have a council house

Our parents may have lived in Council Houses but many of them also got final salary decent pensions. I suspect many folks these days view their house as their pension - cash they can release by downsizing when they need it. So there are other complexities to devaluing houses to make them affordable

Is it though? Look at what happens in Family Court when High Court Judges make decisions with no jury (or requirement of actual evidence) provides insight into the level of flawed rulings that would be made. Unlike FC, in CC you have more right to appeal & compensation. More £ just later?
