I could have worked around that with printing parts separately and switching filament at layer, but that would be very cumbersome). Before making that design I didn't have plans or need for a filament switcher (apart from a tempting idea of easily consuming multiple spools of the 2/

A major plus is that it connects with just one cable—power and signal go through USB-C (but it also has an HDMI port). And it is indeed very thin. If I'm going to be traveling with it, I need to think about getting a good hardcase.
