Weird how well it all can work when a community acknowledges the impacts of climate change and comes together to develop solutions within the framework of a functioning and supportive local government instead of just sticking their fingers in their ears and every-man-for-himselfing it.

From Capitol Crude, "Alaskans learned the hard way that when you elect people who disdain government, you get bad government." If there’s a lesson from Alaska’s oil-dominated history, it's that people have power to elect leaders who will use the tools of government to improve lives not destroy them.

Since they vilify government all day every day, here’s a reminder of “50 ways government works for us”👇🏽🇺🇸 Government is not the enemy. It’s not about “Big Government”, it’s about good government. Elect people who believe in it, not the ones who seek to destroy it.
