Factoring in PM2.5 particulates and carbon dioxide, as well as their effect on health, is needed. Asthma, COPD, heart problems, etc. is not trivial, and the personal health and financial burden is placed on individuals.

I need *practical* solutions, not purity. I’m physically disabled. Sitting at a computer is difficult, or internet searching on my phone. My income is poverty level. I can’t buy necessities from a dozen vendors with shipping. I EARN income from KDP books. I’ve had 1 sale through Lulu in 1 yr.

It might be natural, but shouldn’t have to happen. It’s a response to a society that demands conformity. LGBTQ+ people often mask. Disabled people mask as non-disabled. People with less money might mask among the financially privileged. People without advanced degrees sometimes mask. But is it good?

I use weaving software with a 64-end (“shaft”) threading (1-64 diagonal) and a liftplan format. I create designs in the drawdown. My very first project was a stream-of-consciousness spirals project, my Mermaid Scarf.

The beads were currency. Some was worn, of course, but whole strands of beads have been traded and sold for a long time. Many bead shops, including online, have such bead strands for sale, as well as single or multiple beads. They’re everywhere and impossible to trace at this point.

Antique beads traded in Africa in the 1800s, mostly. The red translucent faceted bead is a vaseline/uranium trade bead. Vaseline for the shiny look, uranium because some of these beads are slightly radioactive and black light sensitive. A number of other glass styles were popular trade beads.
