I know a case like Emily’s has so many things that need to come out, cultural things, systemic failures. I know tips and tech could help solve her case, also. And, I know there is power in the true crime community. Unharnessed power. People could truly help make a difference for so many families.

I agree wholeheartedly. I was contacted recently by a respected producer who wanted to talk about covering an old case. During the convo, I asked abt covering the unsolved murder of Emily Pike, a #MMIWG. He told me people weren’t interested because there was no closure to unsolved cases like hers.
