The Run for Hamilton is an important community event and I couldn’t be happier that it was held on Hamilton Mountain this year. This is the 9th year the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at has organized this charity run to raise funds for the Juravinski Hospital and Cancer Centre Foundation.

Great news for Hamilton Mountain! Through the federal Affordable Housing Fund, I announced more than $31.8 million to help build 107 secure rental homes in a great neighbourhood on Stone Church Road East. Construction is underway for a mix of market-rate and geared-to-income rental units.

Today’s announcement with @stevenmackinnon.bsky.social is a big deal for #HamOnt steelworkers. Shippers are now eligible for a 50 percent rebate on transportation costs to move Canadian steel from coast to coast. This $100 million investment will make it easier to build Canada with Canadian steel.

Such a fun menu at Festival Creamery on Concession Street! I had the legendary Dole Whip, but the New Zealand real fruit ice cream and funnel cakes also look amazing. It’s a great addition to Hamilton Mountain and has become a favourite treat spot for many this summer.
