Angus Taylor has had plenty of time to rehearse and practice this immigration speech. There are far too many “ahs” and “umms” in this speech. He’s got the same problem that PH has. He’s great at rallying against Labor, but terrible at sticking to Liberals’ facts.

One thing that was useful on Twitter was the community notes feature. Mostly now it’d be useful to tag stuff as AI. Not so much a problem with the people that fill my timeline, but venture beyond and there is a lot of AI stuff. And also people posting screenshots of news with no context.

I wonder if there’ll ever be a “budget airlines” but for the sea? Sea travel is way less carbon intensive than travelling by air. Not a cruise. I want as fast/efficient as possible. Not “no frills” but certainly not frivolity. [I know ocean liners were this before the advent of air travel.]
