Yeah, this Palmer Lucky douchebro is the guy who is starting a bank focused on Military Tech. It’s literally cartoon level idiocy.

It’s “21st” century which likely explains Seinfeld.

I heard good things about Slow Horses. I’m not much for “shows” generally…I mean I’m aware that there is an invention called television and on this invention they show shows….😎

OK so the Lucas Museum is now open to the public. This thing looks like concept art that was made reality. I used to park my car literally where they built it on the USC campus. I’m going as soon as possible.

I suppose it’s illustrative about me, but I have seen all of one of these (2 seasons of Andor), most of 2 others, and a few of one other. I can also (and I think this is the point of dumb lists like this, ie to generate arguments/discussion) think of several shows that are better than most of these

What terrific models these are! Dozens of different Norse dudes (and a few gals as well) from elder times GW/ Foundry.

This might be Games Workshop’s best ever model in its history:

If you have a hobby related task, it’s a safe bet to expect Tamiya to have one or more excellent products to help you.

Here’s what I’ve been up to lately…I decided our three man IG squad needed a grenade launcher.

Fortunately, we are Americans, so we have a big fuck off vehicle that can fit all of us as well as an absurd amount of cosplay gear for the weekend!

Cosplay pro tip: Make your Norse round shields the same size as road bike wheels and you have double duty carry cases already in your garage.

It’s the famous logo of the Skudaria FerrarOrk: the Squigga Rampante. 😎

Ok so for my getaway vehicle…it must be a Ferrari…

We have four of us in the house to tell him night and day. He’s among the more spoiled creatures on the planet. Here is his little spot at the kitchen bar. (He likes his water to be elevated) 😎

It’s Friday and BooBoo is relaxing on his lounger in a manner that only a cat can manage.

Well it isn’t hobby related, but I just enjoyed a positively cinematic win playing PS5 F1 25…Verstappen looks like he has me on the line for the win at Interlagos (I’m driving the Ferrari, of course)…but Oh no! Let’s check the photo finish. 🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁😎😎

Well, it’s August and that generally means Cosplay making season around our house. These Imperial Guard leg armor bits are at the “damaged but somehow perfectly clean” step of their development. They shan’t remain so.

OK we purchased this scratching pad doodad for our cat…and when it was turned upside down, it became the perfect feline lounger. He loves it.

I wish there had been Gaslands when my kids were little… we had to make our own rule set (not as good) to have “wacky races” with LEGO vehicles. Today, you upsize the templates just a tad and you (literally) are rolling!

OK so we are big Star Trek fans here in our house, and one thing my wife had when we got married ages ago was a set of 25 year Star Trek crew plates which we hung on the back wall of our theatre. For some reason…we didn’t have Sulu! Well, that error has been corrected. Cc @georgetakei.bsky.social

There was that Bradley Pitticus…although he might have been of Thracian descent, come to think of it.

I wouldn’t even dignify that particular whinge with a response, cuz a) who cares, and b) it actually makes perfect sense that Helen and her sister (literal “trophy wives”) might be from far flung areas of the known world.

Yes. I have yet to read a criticism that isn’t some variant of “Well, it’s not how I would have done it” Nolan made the film, so he gets to do it his way…that’s pretty much how it works. If scholars, “experts”, or film critics 😄 want it to be made a certain way, they could make their own film.

I have wondered for years how many cities/ states would wait until someone was killed (hopefully not a child) before they made some laws governing the operation of electric motorcycles within the city limits/ on highways.

And my wife brought me home this Ferrari 365 GTB4, which I really like precisely because I don’t like the color scheme at all and therefore the ghost of Enzo will be fine with me stripping it down and painting it red like it should be.
