I just deleted my #passpack account. I've been using it for 20 or so years, and I've been happy with the product. But, as my trust in the US' digital ecosystem and its regulations wanes, it was time to look closer to home and #buyfromeu. It saddens me this is a thing - global trust is important.

I need to be reminded about things. So I'm making a small dashboard with a raspberry pi and a small screen. It works pretty well - just the frame left! Will do a lego/wood combo, I think.

Accepting constraints made my life better. Need to spend time on chores? Learn to enjoy the chores. Am I ill? My body is telling me what it needs. Work with it, not against it. Acceptance helped relieve stress and anxiousness this way, and gave me focus when needed. Wishing you good health soon!

Today I learned that V-Sync can cause input lag. In my case there was a very noticeable delay after clicking on a button. Disabling V-Sync removed the delay. Good lesson! The next game I make will be more graphics heavy, so I'll take that one with me. docs.godotengine.org/en/4.4/tutor...

My wife and I just had our first outing on our own since we got our second kid two years ago. Gamedev, projects, work and hobbies in all their glory - sometimes I "forget" what life is truly about. Friends, family, making the most of the time we have. It was a lovely night.

The entire family has been ill the past two weeks. We've been doing it asynchronously - first the son, then the daughter, then the wife, then me. Now the daughter is ill again. Here's hoping we can abort the Promise of the next one getting ill so the family can have its energy back.

Skippity Rock is a #hyper-casual mobile #game where you try to skip a rock from platform to platform to gain the highest score while collecting stars to shop with. If you miss the platform, your rock will sink and you’ll have to start over. It’s relaxing, and more importantly a lot of fun.
