Hmmm well it’s an old Nordic technique called kulning (herding call) that has been used to call for animals, friends and family over long distances and it sure is pretty intense 😅🙏

Going on a new adventure! With herbs, food and training I hope to balance my PCOS, so we can walk this path together instead of fighting it. But it sure feels like stepping 𝓘𝓷𝓽𝓸 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓤𝓷𝓴𝓷𝓸𝔀𝓷❄️ #kulning #pcos #herbs #kula #herdingcall #frost #witchsky #nature

So, one month ago I planted the first seeds of the year (now in the bigger black pots) and it’s now time for the second round: great burnet, coneflower, rosemary, hops and thyme 🥳🪴 #herbs #herbsky #witchsky #witch #garden #örter

I’m starting to see signs of spring even though the snow still covers the ground in some places 🤍 but she’s on the way and oh my, favorite season incoming! 🌱🌷☀️ #nature #spring #wheeloftheyear #pagan #witchsky

It’s the time between #Imbolc and #Ostara and the cold still has nature in its grip. Spring is on its way and you can almost hear the seeds knocking from the ground. But, it’s still the time of the ice. And I’ll continue to rest, until the scream of spring can’t be tamed anymore ❄️ #witchsky

I wanted to happily carry my dream in my arms, Through the thicket over there where my hut stands, And raise a jubilant cry to the loved one, Welcome you, who have been expected for lonely years, And raise a jubilant cry to the loved one, Welcome you, who have been expected for lonely years 🎵

So this is a folk song called ”jag väntar” (I’m waiting) from Dalarna 🇸🇪, where I grew up. It’s about waiting for that special someone and today I thought: what if I interpreted the ”loved one” in the lyrics as spring instead? Because I sure am waiting for it. Cleaning Sunday! Just realized that this is my favorite day to clean; I got time and I’m then ready for the new week 🥳 Anyone else cleaning out both dust and uninvited spirits today? 👻🔔🧹 #witchsky #cleaning #disco

Finally got some time to just sit down, breathe and let the cards speak (instead of me for a change 🤷‍♀️). So blessed Imbolc / Dísablót 🕯️✨ #imbolc #witchsky #Disablot #Dísablót #tarotsky #seasonsofthewitch #wheeloftheyear

Tarot and oracle cards on a desk close to a window. There are candles burning and an old fashioned lava lamp (with glitter) on the desk as well.

Preparing for Imbolc or Dísablót which is the Nordic equivalent 🕯️ are you celebrating? ✨🧙‍♀️ #imbolc #dísablót #disablot #witchsky #pagan

The first seeds of the year have been planted and the plan for the small witchy herb garden is done: Hops, thyme, black cumin, rosemary, geraniums, marigold, meadow sage, burnet, loads of wild strawberries, coneflower, and lavender 🌿 So excited! #herbs #herbsky #witchsky #witch #garden #örter
