If I had a nickel for every religious meme with a picture of me, I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t much but it’s weird that it happened twice.

aka both proving to myself that I can draw when I have a reference, as well as making some hilariously wrong but very cute alternative versions. Memory SpongeBob and Sonic are my favourite and, dare I say, I like my Sonic more

I drew popular cartoon characters from memory and then with reference lmfao

A stechbook page with drawings of six characters: Pikachu, Kirby, Spongebob, Sans from Undertale, Mario and Mickey Mouse.
The left hand side shows them as drawn without reference, on the right hand side a reference was used to draw the same six.

A stechbook page with drawings of seven characters: Minecraft Steve, Sonic, Totoro, Josuke from JJBA, Yoshi, as well as Phineas and Ferb.
The right hand side shows them as drawn without reference, on the left hand side a reference was used to draw the same six.

I’m such a sucker for Italian humanist typography Look at these wonderful ligatures (I based this handlettering on the Linna font by Genilson Santos ✨)

The picture shows a hand holding a small sketchbook with red linen glued over the biding edge. A hand-drawn title reads “Frugal Sketches” in a serif font with an ornamental border around it.

QRP with your artwork and share what other passions/jobs/hobbies you have ✨ I love to consume a good mix of (more or less obscure) films/music/art, solo-hiking, gaming and occasionally sewing :3 I’m currently studying graphic design and hoping to get into exhibition design later +.*

Here’s a #meettheartist I made two years ago! Most of the things are still true but I don’t like how I drew the face lol

A digitally drawn “meet the artist” sheet showing a full body portrait of linlinn.png and various of linn’s interests, disliked and an illustrated “what’s in my bag”.

Reintroduction thread! 🌱 name: linn 🐦‍⬛ pronouns: [none]/they/she 🪱 location: germany 🌿 hobbies: art+craft, makeup, … 🪴 links: linktr.ee/linlinn.png 🌻 email: linlinn.txt@gmail.com

Nine images in a 3 by 3 grid. In the center is a selfie by me with experimental makeup on. The surrounding pictures are different artworks (digital and analog) also made by me (linlinn.png).
From top left to bottom right:
Top row: a digitally drawn hyper-realistic amanita mushroom, digital study of a perfume bottle, an etching of a hawk.
Second row: a digital painting of a rat creature, my selfie, a mixed media painting of a mandrake
Third row (all digital: an angry demon lady, drawing of the same cat in different poses, fake movie poster called “The return of Bucket Man” with a little bucket man and his sponge.

Digital painting of three ethereal women in front of a deep yellow sun/moon.
In the center stands a white woman with a white dress looking directly at the viewer. She is framed by her two sisters, a blue/grey one on the left and a dark red/black veiled one on the right.

A digital study of three figs. The figs are sparkly juicy and lay on a yellow backdrop. One of them has been cut in three pieces, exposing their soft inside. A (basil?) leaf lays behind them in the top right corner.

I haven’t exactly gotten how this works yet but my go to pronouns for the moment are she/they but if you can use my name mostly and avoid using pronouns all together when referring to me, I’d be really happi

Also, new folks, please know that when it comes to trolls, jerks, chuds and other undesirables here in the sky, we subscribe to the idea of “Don’t Engage, Just Block.” The block function is superpowered and expunges them entirely from your timeline. They hate it! Block with wild abandon! Don’t wait!

If you see this, post your orange art! 🧡

A digitally drawn portrait of an anthropomorphic tiger. The tiger is holding its right paw in front of its chest, relaxed, while the tail swoops behind the head up over the right shoulder. The image has a gloomy feel to it and is fairly dark and smudgily painted.

A digitally drawn composition of five different portraits of my cat Coco. Top left to bottom right, Coco is laying down, sleeping peacefully; then peering down from a garage roof; staring expectantly at the viewer right from the center of the image; smugly looking down in another instance. Lastly, interrupted in the middle of cleaning herself, looking out the window, irritated.
The cat is implied to be white but the overall colors of the image are very muted oranges, greens and some grey-ish blue.

A digital illustration of a white heron (also called egret). It is flying in front of a sun emitting stylized geometrical rays made up of tiny dots. Where the orange rays hit the egret, they turn bright white and dissolve into a darker red as they exit the plumage.
The background is a dark black.

The egret is a representation of the myth of the Caladrius. A bird who was said to rid people of their sickness or tell them of their fate in life or death.

A digital illustration of a fire bird. It’s body is a bright red turning into a hot orange with white highlights at the end of the tail and wings. The head turns into a darker blueish-purple, surrounded by a slight red glow. Sparks separate and dance around the long, curled tail.

The fire bird is a mythical creature, similar to a phoenix but different in appearance, sometimes looking like a pheasant, and with varying mythical abilities depending on the region. It is often found in Slavic/Russian tales.
