He popped into my head one night before I fell asleep #art #cat

Swole-armed cat ominously smiles at you with meaty hands on hips.

Woke up at 6:20am and did some quick paintings of the sky while it changed #art #sky

Dark sky with dawn creeping on the horizon, there's a tree and a utility pole

Lighter version of the previous image, planes catch the light in the sky, turning them and their vapour trails pink

Morning starts to melt the snow on the branches as the sun hits them, a flock of birds fly by

The last thing I saw in my head before I passed out on Sunday night #sketch #cat

The subject has a swole armed Mike Wazowski-esque body with a cat face and ears. He was originally crying so I gave him a smile hehe xox

Today is my birthday! I turned 39, it's... a lot 😁 As always, the best gift would be sharing my art.

Clive Barker gets it. faroutmagazine.co.uk/hellraiser-c...

Noting Rowling’s vast financial success, Barker felt that Rowling’s newfound position of fame ought to exclude her from discussing trans rights. He added, “It really just seems redundant for a woman as successful, as validated in the world, as Ms Rowling, to be negative, to be disruptive if you will, to a very beaten up subculture. These are human beings. She has no right to opine, I think, upon the lives of human beings that she does not know.”

“I feel very protective of people who are on the edge of our culture as gay people still are,” Barker continued. “And certainly transgender people are on the edge of our culture. And here you have one of the most successful people in the frigging world – Ms Rowling. Going after a very emotionally vulnerable portion of our culture. It just seems unnecessary and unfair.”

Finished my final piece for Victor Maury's splash art class on Underpaint Academy. I was going through some serious burnout and a bit of an identity crisis with art at the time and it honestly repaired and reinvigorated me🖤 #art #illustration #digitalart #artsky

Lacock Abbey yesterday in the glorious sunshine!

A medieval grassy courtyard of warm and light coloured stone. A low row of repeating buttressed gothic openings with fine Perpendicular stone tracery is topped by a series of other structures with various square and rectangular windows.

A medieval gothic vaulted cloister range looking towards a distant pointed door. The walls on the right are flat and solid, while on the left is a series of openings with fine stonework letting through pointed rectangular blocks of light down the range. Each section is vaulted with criss-crossing ribs joined by coloured carved bosses.

The interior of a vast Gothick hall with an arched roof. At the far end of the hall is a dark wooden pointed door in a decorative stone surround. On the wall surrounding it are many niches with pointed protruding bases and canopies, in which stand a series of statue figures. Light enters the room from a large window on the left.

The exterior of a large stone building with open battlements, and a very large central oriel window broken up into sets of 8 panels, also topped with battlements. A large buttress protrudes from beside it, and a large octagonal tower stands off to the right. In front of the house is green grass and a gravel path.

Photoshop tip for checking your values while you paint! 1. Make a custom color proof setup (View-->Proof Setup) with grayscale settings. 2. Open your work, then open it again in another window via Window-->Arrange-->New Window for [your file]. Now you have 2 views of the same file.
