repost if you are a self-taught artist and have no issues publicly showing your process www.youtube.com/watch?v=SGLq... 100% raw, please play at x2 speed, flashing image warning because i like to toggle layer visibility a lot. it is, as they say, a 'winging it' process in a sense

real though i've done that too

lmao thank you i'm glad on procreate it's an easy 2 tap instead of wearing out my keyboard

- 'i don't know how to make the background behind the flowers pop ahhh [desperate attempts are made] - cheese suggested colour gradient mapping, so that was done in affinity photo + erasing some lines (nooooo) for clarity it's not a glam straightforward process. but i did it!!! while crying!!

and honestly. tracing it would have been efficient and totally okay. but I wanted to try redrawing/reusing the original drawing to see if i can make it my 'interpretation' - SO MUCH STRUGGLING TRYING TO DRAW FLOWERS - there's a different file where i tried to apply colours but gave up

130

usually i have a general concept, but it's not fully birthed from my mind so unless it's something solid, there's some exploration/struggle to find something right on 'paper' - first part is drawing lich emmy with unclear/shadow screencap ref. revised when kara helpfully provided the 3d model

and the double portrait set together! going to try and format these for photocards 🙏 #emmrichvolkarin #dragonage #datv

Art: Emmrich standing in front of several Shroud's Kiss flowers. His head is slightly tilted with a smile on his face as he looks at the viewer, with his right hand holding a Shroud's Kiss flower of his own up to his chest. There's white railings in the background with purple tinted leaves.

Art: A bust show of Lich Emmrich, with his right hand on his chest. Gradients of deep green, gold, and purple are used as shades. He has glowing green eyes with flames that stretch upwards. In the background, there are white flowers (Shroud's Kiss) along with two pillars.

fluffy puffy tanuki rook and kitty emmy 💜💚 also thank you eavangeek for the tail ring idea for rook hehe #dragonage #rook #emmrichvolkarin

Art: various drawings of tanuki rook and kitty emmrich.
First art is a coloured fluffy tanuki rook who is very toasty brown and round, sort of sitting on his hind legs a little with his forelegs still on the ground.
2nd art: Pencil drawing of kitty emmy giving tanuki rook a nose kiss as they both sit, with tanuki rook still noticeably taller than kitty rook.
3rd art: pencil drawing of tanuki rook lying down sleeping, with kitty emmy's tail peeking out from under tanuki rook's tummy area. don't worry he's having the time of his life getting squished.
4th art: pencil drawing of kitty emmy doing cat yoga by lifting his right hind leg up effortlessly, and looking cheery while doing so. Tanuki rook is on kitty emmy's left side and trying to copy the pose, but is sweating.

beanie emmy and manfred are also now available as a complimentary backing card at the shop for some items (keychains, pins, badges, standees). It'd show up as a thumbnail in the item listing if it comes with it! (also as a keychain and sticker)

A graphic showing the front and back of the backing card, featuring the art above this post on the front side, and a thank you with socials and item info on the back side.

many many moons ago @karawra.bsky.social the prophet spoke of a vision where kitty emmy returns to his home planet in a ufo #catEmmy

Art: Kitty Emmy and Manfred are inside a UFO in space. Kitty Emmy's paws are on two levers, and Manfred is barely visible behind the console and wearing an alien feeler headband. Meanwhile, the UFO's green tractor beam is carrying a peeved Johanna's skull. The space background has Saturn and Uranus with gold stars littered about.

Art: Emmrich is pushing himself up against an off-screen edge of a couch, dressed in a bare chested loose flowing collar top. One sleeve is draped over his arm. He's smiling at someone offscreen. He's also wearing a earring, bangles, and a nipple chain with nothing else.

🔞training his prized stallion

Emmrich is straddling Rook (who is cropped off at the bottom, I am so sorry my child but i'm not going to figure out that difficult angle) while almost in the nude with a visible erection. He has a deep flush on his smiling face, furrowed brows and hooded eyes, like he's being firm while trying to retain control. He's holding a riding crop, a fingertip trailing its broad tip, and is wearing horse riding chaps and a nipple chain. Rook is gripping Emmrich's thighs at the bottom.
