Trades now also give me performance anxiety lmao basically anything with any stakes to it mentally paralyses me 💀

... their unlimited, always-connected fast-net lol. Then again, I wouldn't trade the online experiences we had before internet were all corporate for any fast internet in the world

I think I didn't arrive on dA until late 2003 or early 2004... I didn't even have internet at home until 2005 I think. And back then I only was allowed to browse 30 mins a day on 56k slo-mo internet bc you paid per minute of being connected. Kids today don't know how privileged they are with...

I need to get back into that mindset of creating art just for the sake of creating it, and not to monetize or stress over how well it will perform on socmed 💀 This strange performance anxiety has been the biggest roadblock for me recently when it comes to drawing at all

I started scanning old sketched like 2 years ago and them dropped the ball, I think I went as far back as 2002 or smth... gotta pick up where I left off again!

(having a sketchpost livejournal, that is)

... thing to do 😂😂😂 Internet youth culture, man!

100

Also I have started to archive all of my old art on FA @ especially old sketches and whatnot that I never put on dA but instead submitted in sketch posts on livejournal (by uploading the arts to photobucket) Lmao I literally only did it bc everyone else did it and I thought that was the cool...

Hehe yesss, the nostalgia hits sooo good!!

Don't talk about destroying it!! Have some tact!

I have seen people also do this with snakes and spiders and other creepy crawlers and like... I kinda get it but also maybe don't?? It's especially bad when people do it on posts where people show off their pet snakes or tarantula or whatever. Like... this is someone's pet, they love it!

The Witches (5/10) Movie CLIP - Hello Little Bruno (1990) HD

Another, more nightmare-fuelled movie was The Witches. Particularly the scene where one of the kids get turned into a mouse is so screwed, just the way they mock him in his helpnessness, truly evil lol. I think they later try to stomp them with their boots, too. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rtf8...

I know that a lot of people were scared by the flying monkeys from the first movie. I can't remember how I felt about them, but in similar fashion to them, I was sared of the harpy-like monsters from the Ronja Rövardotter movie; www.youtube.com/watch?v=66l9...

I can totally see why they'd freak out kids! The scene where Dorothy gets cornered is also so full of tension, I think if I had watched that as a 5 years old kid, I might have hidden behind a pillor or my hands haha :,D It's such a surreal and kinda creepy character design, for sure!

#Kritter server #Inktober Event - Day 5 "arms" I'm not doing Inktober this year but @22mg.bsky.social drew my kritter Smile so I wanted to do a little revenge >:3 It's their kritter, "grabbed"! #drawing #illustration #creatue

Something to be said about manufacturers who still care about making good and lasting products vs maufacturers who love cheapening out to line their own pockets with profits I know what car I will get if I ever want to have one again, and it's not gonna be a US or German brand one.

CarComplaints.com | Car Problems, Car Complaints, & Repair/Recall Information

I bought my first car a few years ago and I did such a massive deep-dive into car manufacturers and speific models and which to avoid Websites like www.carcomplaints.com are God-sent! But yeah, Toyota, Subaru, Honda, can't go wrong with these manufacturers! Apparently Mini is very reliable, too.

Garfield's Halloween Special Specifically the ghosts, they were super scary to me as a kid (there was a lot of tension and the music, man! It added so much atmosphere! I his behind a pillow every time the scene came on, 2spoopy4me back then!) Watch it yourself: youtu.be/X3FJePrGZb8

I'm so sorry :( I can relate so much, I still miss Monobi a ton This is me, giving you a heartfelt hug 🫂

Yeah, the house she was living in back then was one of those quickly errected family homes types, so the piping might have been a mess. Best to you guys!! Hope it can be fixed easily!

I diig all the little details!!

My cousin had that happen in the house she lived in back when. It apparently happened if the toilet wasn't flushed thoroughly. The house had some old piping, I think. Feces coming out of the shower drain is truly the stuff of nightmares, I'm truly sorry and I hope you can get it fixed asap!!

Feeling like sharing more older works that I still really like. This one was a gift for Aeritikruell @ deviantART of her sona Aeri. I still sometimes miss that era where I colored with OpenCanvas. Watercolor brush tool, my beloved </3 #drawing #dragon #flying #fantasy #art

Have some more old art, why not? Nonex (left) and Riku (right) Both of these are sonas, bwt. Riku is just the main/truesona, Nonex is the anti-thesis to Riku. #drawing #art #furry #anthro #dragon #dragoness

Alcohol brings out the feels, huh? Hope you're having a good day after and no hangover. (Also yes, your art is amazing!)

It also impacts your wallet negatively as you scurry to deck yourself out with merch

Generally can't go wrong with Toyota, one of the few manufacturers who still build their cars to last
