I can almost feel the sun, and the peace, from this pic that I took, earlier this month, of the waves of the Northumberland Strait.

Here, during the heat wave in beautiful Prince Edward Island, I have been enjoying blissful sunset beach walks. Is this an angel's wing above the setting sun? Have you checked out my novels: Beautiful Sadness, and Place of Miracles? They both feature angels unawares, and romantic beach walks 👩‍❤️‍👨 😇

There's a scene in my new novel that has some readers stopping everything to get out their flour, shortening, and rolling pins. :)

I played violin, this evening, for the Women's Institute District Annual Convention. It was fun rehearsing in the afternoon with my guitar accompanist and nice to get dressed up a little bit for our gig. I got to wear some Christmas gifts. :) It was an honour to be invited to provide the music.

How grateful I am for the master luthier who found and fixed a variety of issues with these two. Such craftsmen are few and far between. My "Crowe" violin and my Maggini copy violin are now looking and sounding their best. The lesson learned is: Only take your precious instruments to a professional.

Support Canadian authors and publishers by simply reading their books. Like this one of ours… TURK: One of the NHL's Great Coaches: From Summerside to Madison Square Garden by Fred Macdonald with Glenna Jenkins Read Canadian. Your lives. Your stories. Our books. www.acornpress.com

The book, TURK, stands upright and on a piece of wood with a brick wall background.

My favourite pie to bake: Raspberry Pear. I was surprised and honoured to be featured in a knitting documentary: Threading the Needle, and I served the pie to two film makers and a sound guy. It was a hit.

A favourite pic of two of my favourite things: my sweet, rascally tuxedo boy, Barney, and fresh flowers to brighten a winter day.
