In 2024, #China added 373 GW of renewables including 278 GW of solar and 80 GW of wind power. Renewables now contribute to 35% of its electricity generation. Moreover, the incremental renewable generation met ~ 86% of the demand growth! The #CleanEnergyTransition is irreversible!

In 2024, #China added 373 GW of #renewables including 278 GW of solar and 80 GW of wind. Renewables now contribute to 35% of its electricity generation. Moreover, the incremental renewable generation met ~ 86% of the demand growth, showcasing the effectiveness of the #CleanEnergyTransition
