Imposter syndrome isn't always feeling inadequate. Sometimes it's minimizing accomplishments, over-accommodating, fawning, hiding behind humour or making yourself smaller so others feel comfortable. Growth is recognizing your strengths without apology... to finally let yourself be accurately seen.

Many helpful life coaches guide workers into thinking like an executive, but the transition from executive leadership into retirement or frontline work is often lacking. Transitioning from an executive role to a front-line position is often challenging in its own right. medium.com/@limolnar/an...

It wasn’t the Bank of Canada who destroyed the condo market by raising interest rates. It was condo developers who destroyed their own market by forgetting what their job was: to build livable, affordable places in which people can enjoy their lives and maybe even raise families. archive.ph/pcf48

One of the most misunderstood approaches to social work is compassionate care. Know what terms like "harm reduction", "radical acceptance", "anti-oppression" and "trauma-informed care" are, and are not? Here's a graphic to help you understand! #socialwork #harmreduction #trauma #mentalhealth

It's important for Canadians to unite in our commitment to support our nation's economy. That means buying Canadian first and European second. Watch your labels and choose a country other than the US to invest your vacation money.

Donald Trump says taxes would be lower if Canada🇨🇦 joined the US🇺🇸. This may be true if you don't pay taxes (ie billionaire, trust baby etc) but otherwise...

Ah, the glamourous days of being a business consultant! A highlight was doing a career day presentation for the kids. Who knew technical writing and accounting could be so enthralling?

People often ask me, as a small business person, why it is why I am a life-long member of the NDP @ndp.ca . Small business owners care for their community and citizens. We know their stories and share their lives. We are part of a community. The ultra-wealthy and corporations are not. That's why.

Enjoyed the communications and messaging event held by ONDY yesterday. Now in my 35th year as a member of the @ndp.ca, I'm feeling the energy of a positive campaign that works for the working class!
