Join us tomorrow, Sunday at 5 PM EDT (NY) / 2 PM PDT (LA), for an impromptu Bandcamp listening party for the @slushwave.bsky.social compilation! It’s a wonderful cross-section of different types of slush and I’m looking forward to seeing you in chat. We’ll also be giving away TWO tapes for FREE!

… like this now. (Although shipping inside the US is rather affordable, actually.) Still I hope people keep in mind that we haven’t priced these items so as to get rich off of them. These directly support making the IRL SLUSHWAVE event possible. Last year was a blast and 2025 will be even better! 🌊

Thanks so much to those who insta-grabbed either the tape or VIP package! I see you guys and you are the best. 💙💜 Also, I didn’t really expect these to sell out immediately. Shipping costs worldwide have gone up ridiculously high, so I totally understand that people will think twice about stuff …

An hour and a half and these are finally available to everyone at liminalgarden.bandcamp.com. Not sure what it is about classic clear tapes with sticker that looks so damn nice, but this might be my favorite variant. Shout out to the folks at @slushwave.bsky.social Please join: discord.gg/slushwave

Forgot to mention one of the most important things about this: All the money that comes in through this drop goes directly towards financing this year’s SLUSHWAVE 2025 live event in beautiful Kortrijk, Belgium. Get all infos here: reirecords.com/slushwave Hope to see you there in August! 👁️

The comp features 28 artists — among them LG alumni @desertsand.bsky.social, @daysofblueskies.bsky.social, @painterandcanvas.bsky.social, @exshaluv04.bsky.social and many more — creating perhaps the most celebrated volume of the series. Listen here: slushwavesocialclub.bandcamp.com/album/sscc-v...

Sounds exactly like me, to be honest. I think the most realistic way to make something like this happen is probably to find more people to collaborate with on something like this. Loved the ARIA game Pure Life did. To do something like this for a release one day would be epic.

Just some half-baked personal projects when I found it years ago, like recreating our apartment as an RPG style walkthrough. It's easy to pick up, especially for someone like me, who hasn't got the first clue about coding. But it can get pretty elaborate if you actually were to make a game with it.

To my eye you obviously have a knack for it. Do you know pixel artist Brandon James Greer? He has made some cool 1-bit pixel art like this over the years: www.youtube.com/@BJGpixel/se... I also want to recommend GB Studio, which is great for making Game Boy style games. And it's free: gbstudio.dev

Had no idea you were doing pixel art! This is seriously awesome! 🤩
